I like oldies; 1800's, 1920's Blues and Rag, 1940's Big Band, 1950's newly birthed rock, 1960's folk....

And I like Alt Rock, Dave Matthew's Band, Foo Fighters, Goo Goo Dolls, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Poe

And I like children's songs and Christmas songs "I caught baby bumble bee, won't my mommmy be so proud of me..."

And I like Techno

And I like Pop/Rock



And I like the songs I write, and the songs my friends write.

And I like...Oh heck.

Why not simplify by saying that usually if I can understand the words I like the music, tho that is not always true. I have some arab techno I enjoy very much, but can't say I enjoy a lot of rap I've heard tho there are some eceptions like Will Smith's "Just the Two of Us." etc.

I like R and B and old soul. Marvin Gaye, Al Greene, Aretha, Patti Labelle....etc. etc. etc. And newer R and B....so considering the choices I picked rap.....but all music is nice....I can tolerate and listen to it all.

I like all forms of music, but I *really* enjoy some fun sassy punk or ska. I'm quite sure I'm in minority here with that! lol. But I do enjoy classical, jazz, metal, rock, tiny amounts of country/rap/r&b...

Out of the musical categories you've listed, my only choice would be rap...however, you've left out MANY types of music that people listen to.
