I bought some Cinnamon Toast Crunch today.

I needed to get some cereal, but I'm really not a big fan of overly sweet cereal.

And then I saw it. There, plastic wrapped to the front of the box.

A feature length DVD of Muppets Take Manhattan.

For free.

All I had to do was pay $5 for a big ol' box of cereal.

I'm a-gonna be eatin' Cinnamon Toast Crunch for a while.

:D

have you seen the Weezer video on mtv with the muppets in it? yeah, great freakin video.

Careful, J_H will think this thread is about him ;)

Hmm.. Muppets with Red Bits? hahaha

Part of a complete breakfast!

Actually, I bet Cheffie will be cranky that he didn't pick up a box o' cereal before heading back home. lol

:D

A DVD on a box of cereal? Obviously you bought the cereal from the trunk of a car.

One has to wonder how bad a foodproduct is when it entices you with a freebie that is valued at 3 times its own price.

Just odd.

lol, Mouse.

I actually had the following choices on DVD:

- 2 episodes of Bear in the Big House (or wtf it's called)

- 2 episodes of some silly Jackie Chan cartoon

- Some crappy/corny kids movie

- Muppets Take Manhattan

I think it was just sheer craziness that caused someone to put the Muppets in with those other goobers.

For whatever reason they did it, I'm glad. :D

Enjoy the DVD, rose. I am jealous. not only did you get a pretty entertaining movie but a wacky story to go along with it.

Tomorrow at the Market, Buy a steak, get a free CD.

I can see it now - your options are "The Best of Raffi", Meatloaf's "Bat out of Hell", "Yanni's Greatest Hits", and Garth Brooks "The Hits". Heh.

(Don't ask me why I chose those titles. Except for Meatloaf. Meatloaf...steak... um... Yeah.)

Actually - in all seriousness - the DVD appears to also be matched up with various ad bundles... including (you guessed it!) free trial of AOL! Yay.

:p

I could spare $5 for another box of cereal... but the cost to ship it to him would probably cause me some financial trauma! lol

I got a "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?" CD-ROM when I purchased a box of Rice Chex.

Those are cool muppets. Makes me want to put up my Sigmund sea monster av again

Cheffie and I tried to find one of those boxes of cereal before he left but no dice. I'm gonna have to check the store again and see what I can find.

Oh yeah, and I might have to break down and buy a dvd player.

:)

Does anyone but me remember the decoder/whistle?

It came in a box of cereal.

It was excellently good for injuring yourself with if you kept it in a pocket whist running jumping and playing, as children do.

*lots of sharp corners*
