If you were to take one of the stories you wrote here and make a Muppet adaptation, which Muppet would play what characters, which characters would remain human, and why?
(Yes, there is a reason this thread exists, though perhaps not a particularly good one. No, I don't have a Muppet kink.)
Miss Piggy and Kermit would make an oddly appropriate Avilia and Sligh in The Rivals. And I'd love to see a Muppet version of Zretha the eight-legged riding lizard!
Many of mine focus on two people, which wouldn't work, not in any way I care to admit. But several are set against the backdrop of scientific conferences, so I'm seeing a few respectable Muppet speakers (Dr Bunsen Honeydew, Beaker), then a bit more random (Swedish Chef, the big blue one) and then drunken parties full of Muppets being Muppets.
Among the chaos, Emily appreciates Richie's social awkwardness all the more. Though Richie probably imagines all the researchers he doesn't want to talk to as Muppets, especially when giving a talk.
Muppet is often used in the UK for someone who's a bit of a daft idiot, but it's also used as a euphemism, meaning someone in need of a good fisting. How do Muppets feel about their human operators and their arms penetrating them? I leave this plot bunny as an exercise for the reader.
I write a lot of haremlit, which means the protagonist can only be Kermit or Gonzo. I think in Fighting Them There, the protagonist would be Kermit and the other members of his party would be a zoo of animal muppets, while in Stop Enslaving My Friends, the protagonist would be Gonzo, and his sister's friends would all be chickens.
