I am honestly a fan of natural hair colors but I do think the shades are really pretty. Though I think my sister ended up with a similar purple color back in the late 90's due to a grape koolaid accident....

Yes, it's a black/brown to violet ombré. Similar to this, but more violet highlights throughout the top
