MSN sucks! *rant* You can ignore

I turn on my MSN messenger.. I minimize it.. I can't get it to re open... I have to hit CTL+ALT+DEL to close it. It's starting to piss me off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you have the latest version? Mine was screwing up and I did an uninstall and downloaded the latest version fresh. No more problems.


Yahoo, on the other hand, hates me and loves to eat my messages.

MSN bites. I kept getting bugged by that pop- up box telling me to upgrade to the newest version, so I did. Now it won't let me sign on at all.

I upgraded a week or so ago... I actually like the new one.. tonight it's just being an ass. I can log on.. I can see "my pals" that are online. yet...I can't messege them and if I leave it open(for more than a few minutes) (not minimize it) it goes blank. I can't even left click or anything on it. If i do the ctl+alt+del thing.. it says MSN Messenger (Not responding). Maybe it's msn.. or my ISP.. no idea.. My ISP is doing major changes.. my emails don't even work tonight I have the world at my finger tips.. yet I can't touch it.

Same thing happened with me at times ever since upgrading the newer version several weeks ago. It's given me a few other problems too. It often kept knocking me off and not letting me back on till I restarted the computer. What was worse is that, according those I IMed with, it would still show me as being online in everyones buddy list. Seems to be working nicely now after having it downloaded for awhile. *knocks on wood*

I actually had problems with MSN until I downloaded the new version...

Now Yahoo is Satan .. it showed me as logged in for a solid week, and while I was 'logged in' I couldn't actually log in ... so i uninstalled the goddamn thing, and said 'fuck it!' three damn ways to IM me is enough!

I have a friend who was logged in for 3 solid weeks day and night on yahoo.

Recently, yahoo has been eating messages to me. I've gotten three e-mails this week from people wanting to know why the hell I'm ignoring them.


What would we do without messengers now?

I have Windows XP, and the XP version of MSN Messenger, which is now called Windows Messenger. I haven't had any problems with it. And it doesn't have that damn ad on the contact list any more.

To me it sounds like a problem with your Windows, maybe you should think about reinstalling Windows.

I have had trouble like that on Windows ME. What Windows do you have, and what is the problem you get? Wrong password or what?

It's working now... I guess it was my ISP.. because as soon as my emails starting working again.. so did my MSN..

Like I said, my ISP was updating and my emails were shut down for a few hours. I was only connected at 50667 bps.. I'm now connected at 53333 bps..everything is working much better..

I really need to get the DSL back.. pisses me off.. teach me for jumping my guns.. Think I'll call in the morning..
