MSN Messenger... need help please

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease help!

Several days ago now I decided to do the update to version 5.0 of MSN Messenger as it had been prompting me too. Problem is once I had version 5.0 installed it wouldn't allow me to sign in at all. I even tried signing up for a new ID and wouldn't let me sign in under that one either. I erased and re-downloaded and re-installed it several times with the same result.

I searched for a copy of version 4.6 to download and re-install but everything I find just seems to link be back to version 5.0 again, even if it says 4.6 where I get it from. So what I'm asking is does anybody know where I can get a copy of MSN Messenger 4.6... I'm lost without it (lol)
