I use yahoo messenger, but it's more frustrating than anything. Most of the chat rooms are swiming with bots or fakes or wannabees, etc. I've occasionally found a decent person to talk to.

MSN or Yahoo have adult sections and chat rooms, AOL probably does too, but I have hated AOL since I before I started on the internet, so I won't use them and I can't say for sure.

The main trouble I have found is that those chat rooms take a lot to break into them, a lot of time, a lot af energy.

I prefer to look for chats like Lit chat and you can search Digi-chat for it's adult content sites (you used to be able to anyway).

I much prefer that style of chat, than the resricted 40 or 50 person chat rooms that MSN and Yahoo have.

Ezzy is right, the few times that I wandered into the yahoo chat rooms were not an enjoyable experiience for me. To much activity/traffic and in so many cases I was looking for specific places to talk about interests, such as knitting, and there were just to many that should have been in the adult rooms but were busy trolling to regular boards.

Pm'ing people here might be a way to find friends that will either talk to you in instant messenger, or might refer you to boards that are not machine gun fire response chat rooms.

i have discovered that the only people worth talking to are people i've met through this discussion board

I wouldn't know honestly, The Chatrooms on YIM are awful as others have already noted. In all honesty? I'd like an answer too lol. I do agree, the people around here on LE seem nice enough and I hope to eventually make a few more friends from here, I love chit-chat partners.. yes I came to a Erotica forum for friends to chit-chat with lol.

But really? I don't think that matters, A lot of nice people around here.

Anyway, If I figure something out.. I'll post it.
