MSN and Other IM Programs.

Just downloaded MSN last night and tried it out for awhile. Atleast it's a lot better then ICQ(Screw you, Ravenloft! lol). Still trying to get used to it though. It screwed up on me earlier when talking with a few people, but seems to be doing good now.

Anyway, which messanger service do you prefer overall?

Right now, AIM is the best out of the three that I've used, in my opinion. Never could get into ICQ(again, Screw you Ravenloft!)and MSN is still a kind of 50/50 deal with me. Maybe my opinion will change after awhile.

Well, I have AOL, so I don't use AIM...I have never once used MSN's messenger...I almost NEVER turn my ICQ on since I don't like it...and I almost never turn on my Yahoo messenger. lol So, if ya'll want to talk to me (for God knows what reason...lol) there is AOL/AIM and e-mail.

I like MSN because you can see when someone is typing. But every once in a while the scroll messes up and I can't seem to fix it.

AIM is good too. No complaints there.

I like them about the same.

My poor little computer can't handle too many IM's so I only have MSN and ICQ. I use to love ICQ until I tried MSN, now I use MSN all the time. Mainly because I can rarely get my ICQ to work for me.

I used to be a hard core ICQ user then they just got adding more and more and more and more useless features, then they built in a trojan virus so that they can see everything you do with your computer not just ICQ, that coupled with it would use 25% of my system resources I got rid of it

I now use AOL IM and MSN IM equally they each have thier good and thier bad points but combined they only use 6% of my system resources leaving my computer many more resources to runa nd play and do stuff with.

AIM always crashes my computer....grrrrr
So MSN and ICQ for me.....all my RL friends have ICQ and it's especially useful for the family and friends who are abroad now

Uses AIM, MSN and ICQ.
neither usually makes any trouble. BUT when one of then do, ALL suddenly starts to make trouble. And crashes everything I am doing...ah well.

I used to use ICQ religiously, but lately the amount of space it takes up on my hard drive kept growing, and it was seriously screwing with the speed and reliablilty of both of my computers.

AIM I have always used, and aside from one problem I love it. (And it was evil evil Aimster than killed AIM blah!)
I used to use MSN for work, but slowly some lit people crept onto that buddylist so now I always have MSN and AIM on, unless I'm bitchy and don't feel like talking.

For ALL of you who uses Aimster.

When it asks if you would like to intergrate IMs in Aimster. DONT!!!

That was what fucked my IMs about a week ago. You'll appear online, but it wont recieve IMs, nor will it let you send IMs.

Happens frequently with Aimster. However, I ahve disabled that thingy and now everything works (knock on wood) perfect.
