On the contrary, it's hard to imagine a better scenario for us than having such an empty suit in charge of the Senate Republicans.
The people who "supposedly care about him as a person" know him well enough to know he wanted all his life to be a senator, and that he would not want to be removed from office under any circumstances. Neither they nor he care what it means for the people of Kentucky or for the workings of the Senate.
