Moving into the dark (Closed)

He gave a little chuckle at Talia's inquiries about the morning activities.

"Yes, she is doing quite better this morning. She is out of the tank and getting cleaned up as we speak. Although she is very worn out, so I doubt we'll be seeing her before we leave."

He ate a few more bites of fruit before speaking again.

"You looked like you had a rather exciting night last night. The servants looked like they had a little fun with you as well."

Talia raised an eyebrow, curious as to what he has done this time. Then smirked as the images crawled in, though they were from her own twisted imagination.

"Yea, well.... a couple of the servants have always wanted me... Certain people wouldn't allow it. Guess, they found their perfect moment to... um... Strike."

She laughed and glanced at her red streaked arms, already seeing some of the angry marks healing slowly.

"I think they had a bit too much fun if you ask me."

Giving one of the servants a wicked grin before digging into her food. Kyleen kept silent as she ate, realizing just how hungry she honestly is. All the excitement of last night and the sex between last night and this morning, she was starving.

"What should we do about that little... secret side job? Did we get what she was looking for?"

Talia asked out of curiosity, she hasn't had a chance to look for anything special. Yet, she didn't know what those two have been up too, not in great detail anyway.

He could only laugh as Talia told about her activities the previous evening. Despite her complaining, he could tell she had enjoyed every moment of what happened.

"You know you enjoyed it."

He raised an eyebrow for a moment as the wolfess asked about some secret side job. He wasn't quite sure which one she referred to, as he didn't say anything about what he had planned on stealing. Whatever it was exactly, he decided to play along.

"Well, let's just say that even though Alicia is going to be the Mistress of this place, I'll be the one running things. So the ball has been rolling on things."

He finished off what was on his plate, waving off the servant trying to refill it.

"Shall we get things rolling do we can go on vacation?"

Talia grinned when seeing his expression and his answer proved that he had already forgotten. She took a moment to decide on how she would remind him without having the servants overhear things.

"A while back there were wanted signs all over the place, signs that caused your previous 'pet' to run away from you."

She leaned back in her chain, lifting her feet up on the table as she munched on some grapes as she thought about it some more.

"Some crazy female used them to get to you and she found us, she mentioned something about Thanatos having something she needed.... Some sensitive something or another... The reward seemed reasonable too, if I recall."

Talia laughed for a moment while pinching one of the servants ass cheek and making her squeak a little.

"However, that is just what I've heard. I clearly don't know the details of the actual deal."

Grinning and pretended to know nothing about the deal that female made. Of course the servants now know who Talia really is after their fun last night. Before, they just took her in as fresh meat to play with, but it was time for Talia to be Talia again. Though, she frowned slightly when thinking of some other issues that came up before the wedding.

"And have you decided what to do with the wolf pack yet? They are going to want an answer before we leave. And yes, I am ready to get going when you are Master."

Kyleen finished her meal and polished off her juice, asking for some that she can take with her as the servants started cleaning up.

He chuckled for a moment, bit upset at himself for forgetting what she had been talking about. He took it in stride for a moment before kissing Talia's cheek.

"Of course. Perhaps you should be the one to try and follow up on this sensitive matter. You might be better at finding what I can't."

He stood up from the table then, rubbing the top of Talia's head gently.

"As far as the pack goes, I've decided they should stay here with Alicia. Let them be the protectors of Alicia, as they once were for Thantos. No need to have them wandering the street."

Talia gave a sly grin as he gave her permission to snoop around and already getting some ideas of where to start looking. She wasn't in a hurry though and proceeded to have seconds on a few breakfast items. After last night, she was a starving wolf and needed all the energy she could get.

"I will see what I can find and will let the pack know what is happening."

Talia spoke just before diving into the second dish of food, savoring the flavorful steak that was made upon her request. Kyleen giggled while watching Talia wasting no time with her seconds, though she stood up with Zion and followed him. She took his hand and kissed the top of it, all the while thinking of what happened last night with the mark.

"Do you mind if I go with you? I really don't wish to be alone right now. I never know what this mark will do next."

She sighed and put on a smile to hide her fears and concern behind it. Of course Kyleen has a lot to be happy about and for the most part, she is happier than ever. There were just a few questions with unknown answers and majority of them had to do with this mark. After a moment or two, she finally asked one question that has been on her mind, but until now, there has been too much excitement happening.

"It was that elf that I've been smelling that did this, isn't he? I smelled him on you last night when you came back to dinner. Why would he do this to me?"

He smiled for a moment at Kyleen's kiss to his hand.

"Of course you can go back with me. I will just have the robot and Talia take the bikes back tonight."

He frowned for a moment when she asked about the elf. He wasn't sure the best way to answer. Finally he just decided on the truth.

"It seems that the elf was family to Thanatos. Thanatos had promised you to him sometime in the past, but I don't know when he was supposed to get you. That mark is connected to him, but he can't locate you by it."

He grinned and laughed for a moment.

"Perhaps I should transfer the mark to Alicia and see how things turn out."

Kyleen frowned and her ears lowered when he confirmed the truth of her suspicions. Truth of the matter is she just wanted her old life to leave her alone and yet it seems to always creep back up. Though he mentioned transferring the mark onto Alicia, her ears did twitch to the idea. But if she is the one that was promised to him, would he honestly accept Alicia as a replacement?

"How can you transfer it to her? Don't spells like this normally only obey the one that casted it?"

Kyleen smirked a little and shaking her head, unable to believe that she is considering the idea at all. She wouldn't wish this kind of torment on someone else, even if it is Alicia.

"I doubt he would be interested in her anyway. She wasn't apart of the deal whereas I am, he would just hunt me down again. And after what you've been putting her through, it is hard to say how she feels about men right now."

She sighed as the more she thought about it, it could work in a few ways. The elf would get something out of it, Alicia could have a mate here to look out for her. If it worked out in that direction anyway. Kyleen did want the mark removed all the same and she would do almost anything to get it done.

"I do want it removed though... It makes me feel things and I am constantly in need to fuck anything that moves."

He laughed and shook his head softly as he listened to her talk. She was right with everything she said, there wasn't much he could do. He could take care of the mark, but not transfer it.

"Don't worry about the mark. I'll remove it once we are away from all this. If I ever see that elf again, I already told him he wasn't going to live long after that."

He wrapped his arm around her shoulders as they walked through the mansion to gather up their things.

"As far as Alicia goes, she'll cone around. Even if she won't trust any man, except me, she'll find someone to mate with."

Kyleen smiled with his responses and laughed lightly when he did. Moving a bit closer and hugged his arm as they walked, she thought about the things he spoke of. Truth is, she wanted nothing to do with that elf since he keeps coming after her, if she had it her way, she would be the one to kill him. But....

"Well... It doesn't seem fair to threaten him in such ways. You and I would do the same. Hell, anyone else for that matter would go after what is owed to them. Thanatos clearly broke a deal with him and he is just wanting what is promised. I may not like it, but I do understand."

She sighed while trying to think of a way to solve this issue. Sure killing the elf off seems like the most reasonable thing to do. Removing the mark has potential of causing issues that she isn't willing to deal with. She has witnessed first hand what this mark is capable of, to remove it by force... She didn't want to think about it.

"Perhaps we can make a deal with him. I know we are leaving today, it doesn't even have to be today. But we can at least find out if he would accept Alicia in my place. Maybe if he does, he will remove this mark as part of the deal. She is going to need help to reestablish things around here."

She laughed a little, picturing Alicia's reaction to being pawned off, though if things went the way they were suppose to. Kyleen would have been the pawn.

"I mean, it can't hurt to find out at least. Of course, he will have to answer to you in all things, promising to not follow in Thanatos' footsteps."

~~~~~~~~~~
Talia thought hard while she finished off her meal, looking at all the art on the walls in the room and laughed to herself. She wondered just how much of this art is going to get sold off since none of it fit Alicia's style. Hell, it didn't even fit Zions' style for that matter.
If she remembered correctly, the chick claimed that the information she wanted was within one of these paintings, sadly she wasn't very particular as to what one. Which made things difficult considering Thanatos did like his art and it could be an all day project just going through it all. Talia didn't have all day though and had to think of a more tactical way of dealing with this.
There were many obstacles in her way, the biggest one is not knowing what exactly it is she is looking for. Secondly, not knowing if her brother actually knew what he had. Assuming he did know, chances are he would want to keep something like that close. And, with luck it would be an odd ball piece of art that didn't fit with the other style.
"I guess I am starting in his study and private rooms first..."
Talia spoke to herself and polished off her meal before getting up to begin her search. She did consider going to his log books for all this art, hoping to catch a hint of something out of place. Again, the obstacle of not knowing when he bought it stood in her way and it would take too long.
"Doing this the old fashion way it seems."
With that, she headed off to his private chambers first.
Zion nodded as he listened to what Kyleen had to say about how to deal with the elf. After all, it was a little better way of dealing with him. As much as he wanted to kill the guy, having him around might prove a little more useful. And if Alicia did get the upper hand in the little mating, if such a thing was agreed to, it would make him that much easier to control.
"All very sound advice to take into consideration. However, now is not really the time to worry about that. We do have a vaction to get to, and that is all something that can be dealt with later. Why don't you gather everything you brought and then meet me at the front door? I'll get some things taken care of as well, and make sure Talia doesn't spend too much time with her little mission."
He grinned and kissed Kyleen softly for a moment.
"That is if you want to bring her along with us."
He figured he already knew the answer, but felt like teasing his mate anyways.
It made Kyleen happy to hear that he wasn't against the idea like she half expected. Alicia is technically his now and she has seen his mark on her neck. There were little things that she didn't know though, like the deal he had made with Alicia about finding her own mate since Kyleen was sleeping at the time. She figured that Alicia would be a part of their pack now, and in many ways, she is. Just not in the way that Kyleen expected.
Kyleen was about to answer him when Alicia came from her room, bathed, redressed in a simply blue silk dress. There wasn't anything all that fancy about her appearance and she looked at though she could easily go back to bed. However, she knew that she needed to get this day started and figure out how bad the damage reports truly are.
Kyleen did let out a soft growl considering Alicia did make the attempt to take her spot as alpha, something Kyleen highly disapproved of. Alicia heard it now that her senses are stronger than before, instead of being upset about it, she smiled weakly in understanding. Alicia saw that Kyleen was about to leave them and held up her hand to stop her for a moment.
"I-I wish to apologize to you both. It is not my place to come in between the two of you and to be fair..."
She paused with a smirked, there wasn't anything fair at all about this entire situation. Not only has Zion taken over the place, he has messed with her mind and body one too many times. What Kyleen had witness was his fault as well and yet, she is willing to take the blame for it all.
"There is a lot for me to take in with his death and refocusing a new direction for this place. I have not been myself the last few days. Even before you arrived I have been feeling.... off... I suppose is the best way to put it. What happened in the lab.... I can not say what happened truthfully since that has never happened before. I can say that I wasn't myself and could not control it."
Alicia sighed knowing how crazy she must sound right then. Hearing it come from her own lips almost made her want to laugh at the craziness of it. Shaking her head and putting up a strong mask like she has done many times before. There is a hint of her natural pheromone drifting in the air and the guard that walked with her had a slight glaze in his stern eyes.
"Anyway, I just wanted to apologize for my actions earlier. I do not know what came over me, but I will do what I can to not let it happen again."
~~~~~~~~~~

Talia may not have known where to start at first, yet as she started looking at the paintings through the mansion, she began to get a hint. Thanatos was a good couple hundred years older than she is and has been around the world more than once, fought in wars that she couldn't begin to imagine. Which lead her to examine majority of the paintings. Most of what is visible to the public is for bragging rights and to show off the power he once had.

Most consisted of his battles that he had won, leading armies into a variety of battles, him being the center of whatever victory. The list went on and on, she could almost year his voice droning on about the wars. But what she didn't see were paintings of their mother that she never truly knew. Talia knew that her mother had died shortly after Talia was born. There were no childhood paintings either, nothing to indicate that Thanatos was an actual caring person at one time in his life. In fact now that she thinks about it, there are no paintings of her either and she knows for a fact there were some made.

This piqued her curiosity as to where Thanatos hid those paintings. Also, did he ever truly fall in love with all his years of living? There were no paintings to indicate he has had females in his life, no beautiful women, or statues.... nothing. Then again, that almost didn't surprise Talia much. Thanatos is a man of perfection, if it wasn't perfect in any way, he didn't want it. That was one reason he kept Kyleen, when she was a kid, her fur was pure white and she was flawless.

It wasn't until her teen years that the color of her fur changed and he found the imperfections. But by then, he had grown attached to her for other reasons. Love was not one of those reasons either. Come to find out, there were no paintings of Kyleen either and she knew there were one or two of her younger years with her white fur.

It appeared as though if it wasn't about war, power or killing, it wasn't out in the public view. With this new bit of realization, Talia knew what to look for now. If he had known about the sensitive information he had, chances are good that he would moved it into another painting to hide it from prying eyes.

The first place she went to is his private chambers and there were no obvious places to hide that much family art. Which had Talia growl deeply with frustration, though she began snooping around for a secret passage, or hidden room, anything that would allow him to hide his past.

He looked towards Alicia when she came out of her room, cleaned up and ready to go. He was quiet as he listened, nodding every now and then. It did sound like she was sincere about what had happened and over her actions. However, he knew only time would tell if she truly meant what she said.

"Apology accepted. As long as you understand what you did wrong, and willing to work towards correcting things. I know controlling your pheromones take some time, and you will have that. I will be leaving for a few days, but I will be back to see how things are going. There are a few other things we will discuss then as well."

He did catch a whiff of her scent for a moment, but ignored it. He did chuckle a bit at the guards reaction before looking at Kyleen.

"Shall we head then? Talia should be able to do things on her own."

The robot had gathered what few things they had brought from the bikes, putting them by the door. It didn't take him long to find Talia, watching her from the door. He spoke after a few moments.

"Do you need some help? I could examine those for any imperfections or anything hidden if you would like."

Alicia didn't quite know how to respond other than to agree and smile that he accepted the apology. Deep down she knew she had done something wrong, on the surface, she couldn't pin point the exact moment of her behavior. It wasn't her that was in control at the time, most of it felt like a dream, a sleep state until he took over.

No matter her own actions, she knew that when Kyleen came in, she wasn't herself and that he punished her for it. Though, with a few things he just said now told her more than he will ever know and answered quite a few questions. The real question now is how to deal with it on her own. But those are things she will figure out, or perhaps ask him to help if he can later. In the meantime, she let them both go and smiled politely as they went their separate ways.

Talia had found a hidden wall that opened up behind the bed and just as she suspected, there were family portraits filling the tiny closet like room. What surprised her though is that they were all protected and dust free, as if he had been taking care of them instead of forgotten. That did bring a soft smile out with some satisfaction that he did still care on some level. Not that it mattered now, of course now it means she could claim all of them and put them up in her own room back home.

The robot helper startled her as she was lost in thought and not expecting anyone. But she smiled and glanced at a few of the portraits of her parents.

"Well, it would speed the process up. However, I'm not sure what ones to start with. So far all of these seem...."

She paused when noticing three paintings were covered with black silk material. Wondering over to them to unveil the hidden art, the first one she has seen many times in the past and is one of her favorites of him. She wondered why he kept it in here instead in public view.

The other two she hasn't ever seen before. They were of two females that were more than perfect and she could honestly see Thanatos lusting over them. They seemed to be complete opposites of each other as she pulled all three paintings out to set them on the bed.

"These two females are new to me. I have never seen either one before... All three were covered though."

She placed Thanatos' portrait in the center of the two females. The one that looked like an princess of winter amazed Talia the most, almost as if it called out to her. The other female had the glow of the sun to her features and perfect in every way.

"Well, if do you see anything odd with any of them? I haven't seen this portrait of him in ages and I honestly thought it was destroyed at one point. But the females.... I wouldn't have a clue if they have been altered or not."

The robot studied the three paintings silently, one hand on his chin as if thinking. His mind processed the history of art, trying to place the era and artist to each one. Since there didn't seem to be a signature on any of them, he wasn't able to place the artist. None of the styles matched any artists in his databank, making him shake his head.

"Unless Thantos painted them himself, they don't seem to match anything known to the data banks. They seem to be authenticate as well, merely a single layer. They are well done."

He looked towards the hidden little closet, making his way towards it. He stood there silently reaching out towards a small panel on the side of the closet. A soft click was heard before a panel opened up were the portrait of Thantos had been. A simple combination locked safe was revealed.

"Oh, Master wanted us to take the hover bikes back once you are finished here."

Talia laughed at the mention of Thanatos painting them himself.

"He may have been an artist at one time him life, but he was never this good. No, these are done from someone he knew."

She did frown though when the bot didn't see anything odd about the paintings. Then again, she honestly didn't think it would be that easy either. In reality that information could be anywhere in this place. She sighed while examining the paintings more noticing the dates on the back, still no indication of who created them.

"well, the bikes will make it difficult to bring all this home. Will have to find a way to transport these portraits later I guess. Alicia will have no need for any of them and they will not sell."

The click caught her attention and she turned to look at what the bot was doing. It surprised her that she didn't catch the hidden vault, however, she wasn't truly looking for it either. Most of her attention were on the paintings as her only clue.

"Well, well, this is interesting. Don't suppose you can trace what keys have his finger prints can ya? The code can be anything knowing him. From a simple date to some outrageous number."

Talia glanced back at the paintings she found and wondered if the dates she found were any indication to the code. With it being a vault that Thanatos owned, she figured that were only so many chances before it locked up for a time.

"How many guesses do you think we got?"

She laughed and examined the vault a little closer to notice that it hasn't been used in a while with the dust on it.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kyleen fell quiet for most of the trip home as she thought about all the events that happened at the mansion. Deep down she was pretty proud of herself for getting the task done and did feel the weight lifted off her shoulders. Though, she knew she could have done better and wondered what made Thanatos react with his trap. About half way home she finally spoke, asking the one question she didn't really want to know the answer too.
"Do you still wish for me to get into the tank? I did promise that I would if you needed me to. It will take Talia a while to come home on the bikes."
Kyleen laughed briefly recalling his comment earlier about taking this trip without her. For as tempting as that was and he did promise to take her on a trip alone, she knew better than to exclude Talia from this trip. Even if Kyleen didn't know where they were going, but she did know that Taila was told she can go and is looking forward to it.
"To answer your question from earlier. I think leaving without Talia would make her not speak to us for quite sometime. After all, she knows where we sleep.... Having an angry wolf on our hands isn't such a good idea."
She did glance at him and grinned.
"Though, you will owe me a private get away.... You did promise me some alone time."
The robot took a few moments to clear away the dust left on the safe and keypad. He shifted his eye filters to examine the keys, finding four of the buttons well worn.
"I'm not sure how many tries we shall get, but I am able to see which ones he frequently used. That should make things easier."
The robot looked back at her for a moment before looking back at the safe. His finger poised over the keypad before he started punching in the numbers. It took four tries before a green lit appeared above the keypad, and a click was heard.
"All yours."
The robot stepped back, letting her open the safe.
----
"No, there's no need for you to go into the tank when we get home."
He gave a laugh for a moment, squeezing her shoulder lightly.
"I figured you would be too busy packing for vacation. After all, females always seem to pack more than males, or so I understand."
He sat back as she talked how upsetting it would make Talia if they had left her behind. The wolfess would be quite upset and a handful to deal with. There was an upset to him, thinking it would be fun to play with Talia in that state. However he wouldn't put her through that just yet.
"Yes, that true. I don't want to deal with a upset wolf, yet. But I still will treat you to a private faction of just the two of us."
Talia allowed the bot to have at it with the code, figuring that he would have better luck with the number combos than she would. Pick locking isn't quite her skill like tracking people down were, although there were times when picking a lock would have come in handy.
She was admiring the paintings while rolling up a few of the family portraits after carefully removing them from the frames. Rolling them would make transporting them a lot easier, however, she still needed something to put them in while on the bike. Just as she began to look around for something, she heard the click of the safe and she turned her attention to it. She smiled and moved in to examine its contents.
"Awesome job Mr Bot!"
She laughed and nudged the bot playfully as if it was a real person. What she found shocked her at first as it was a picture of him playing her when she was a kid. Along with a few other pictures of them happy in a life long forgotten. Naturally she snagged the pictures up and put them safely in an envelope. There were other very personal items that she wouldn't expect her brother to keep. In the very back was rolled up paper to look like a scroll, although the papers were too modern to be considered real scrolls.
"Do you think we should break this seal?"
She glanced at the bot and not really waiting for his approval, she cracked open the seal to read what secrets the papers hid. They seemed important and were written in another language that she scarcely knew. A few words popped out at her, yet they were simple words and didn't give her anything to work with.
"Can you read this? I am a bit rusty with this form of writing."
Talia gave the papers to the bot for him to examine. She didn't know if those were the correct papers or not, however her gut was telling her that they were the right ones.
~~~~~

Kyleen smiled after hearing that she didn't have to go in the tank, one less worry off her shoulders at least. In that same thought, she has grown to trust him when it did come to going in the tank and her fear of it has lessen to some small extent. Only problem now lies with the images of what she read in those journals, she knew that Zion would never do such a thing. Yet, the images would haunt her for a while still.

She quickly pushed that thought and images to the side though and perked up more as he talked about Talia.

"Well, technically, I do not have that much personal items to pack. Other than a ton of clothes and honestly, I don't plan packing all of them."

She laughed and looked over to him with a playful smirk.

"Although, it would help to know where we are going. I don't wish to pack up beach wearing clothes if we are going somewhere that is cold."

The bot took the papers for a moment, examining them. The language was not unknown to him, but he didn't have the right language files to translate it. He rolled the papers back up and handed them to Talia.

"I could translate the papers, but I don't have the right language files loaded. You will have to wait till we return home. Ready to return now?"

-----

He gave a laugh at her mention of how much clothing she could pack, shacking his head.

"I think I will have to make you limit how much you can take with us. Don't want to overload the plane."

He thought for a moment if he should spoil where they were going, but decided against it.

"As far as where we are going, I'll just say it's warm this time of year. I figure one week might be a good amount of time for a vacation, to start with."

He knew that time really wasn't an issue for them as they were self-employed. And they weren't hurting for anything of need. It wasn't long before they soon arrived back at the base, the helicopter landing without incident. They were greeted by a couple of the maintenance robots.

Talia smiled and took the papers from him. After looking around and finding nothing that would help transport the items. She had to laugh at herself and shook her head with a 'duh' moment.

"Geez, how can I forget such a simple thing. Magic is so useful sometimes."

She summoned up a black hole and stuck the paintings into it while creating a chest with the shadows. These things were normally temporary as it would make everything disappear if she waits too long. For now, she stuck the papers into the chest so she knew exactly what to look for later. Closed up the portal and smiled while turning to the bot.

"Yup, lets get out of here. Don't want to keep Master waiting too long."

With that, she took the lead and headed out while watching Alicia talk to some important looking people. Talia figured they were there to help get things back in order so she didn't bother them. She did talk to her old pack though and told them they were to remain here and be the protectors of the place again. A couple of them didn't like that idea and yet, it is really the only thing they knew how to do. They were selected by Thanatos brought into this life for that very reason.

~~~~~~~~~~
Kyleen had some hope that he would spill the beans of where they were going. Only to laugh a little when he managed to not say anything about the place itself.
"Sounds fair enough. I am sure I can find a weeks worth of something to wear."
She teased and blew him a kiss just as they landed. She followed him in and let the bots do their thing with the copter and other items.
"Will we be going to any fancy places? Like should I bring a few of my real fancy dresses and heels that you bought me?"
The robot was no stranger to magic, but he wondered why Talia was so eager to get everything back. After all, he figured she could have just asked to get the things delivered back to the base. He just shrugged for a moment, letting her let the way.
It wasn't but a block to the bikes, and they were safe and sound. Time was of no concern to the robot, only that they get back soon. Traffic would be light for the time of day, so they would be able to go full throttle and get back in about four hours.
----
He chuckled for a moment when she asked about formal wear.
"I think I might be able to squeeze in something where you can show off your really fancy dresses. After all, I don't have a true set schedule of events for us to do."
He kissed her softly for a moment before pulling away.
"Why don't you go and pack while I go and check on some other things. I'll try not to be too long."
He walked with her to their room, his arm around her waist. He gave her one more kiss before heading off to the treasure room. He wanted to see what all had been taken from the mansion.
Most the the items taken were mable statues, paintings after the war, and various decorative dishware. The stuff didn't interest him, so he made a note to put it all on the black market to be sold. What did catch his eye were a pair of life-like kitsune statues just like the paintings Talia had found. He took his time examining the statues, the artistry made to like so real.
Kyleen decided to take this time to organize her things. Something she hasn't had a chance to do since getting all those clothes. Luckily she had plenty of rooms to hold them until the bots finished the bigger room. She spent time separating what she wanted to take, setting aside at least two fancy dresses. One she folded up temporarily as a surprise for him, the other one was more of a fritzy club type dress.
She also set aside some warmer clothes for at night just in case it got on the chilly side. In reality she didn't pack too much, only one suitcase worth of clothes. Yet, when he came in, it would like as though she is packing it all up with clothes divided into piles everywhere. Some of those piles were Talia's as well, which didn't help the hurricane appearance in the smaller room.
After giving the robots a few directions on what to do while he was gone, Zion decided to see how Kyleen was coming along with the packing. What greeted him was not what he expected.
"Did I miss the hurricane coming through? We don't have any open windows, do we?"
He grinned playfully for a moment as he went to the pile nearest the door. He picked up a couple of shirts for a moment, examining them before dropping them on the floor.
"Looks like you have a little housecleaning to do when we get back. Talia too."
Kyleen laughed at his questions while turning to face him for a moment.
"Well, we haven't had the chance to really go through it all. Figured now is as good of a time as any."
She watched him look over a couple of shirts and laughed again as she packed up a few extra things.
"It's all divided up though so it makes it easier. Quite a bit of it doesn't really fit me all that much. Some of it are just plain too ridiculous to even consider wearing."
Glancing around to give him an example and laughed after grabbing a bra of sorts. Holding it up to her breast with a disgusted look.
"I mean really, who wears a pink, glittery coconut shell for a bra? Even for a costume... pink coconuts? Really?"
She tossed em back onto the pile of outrageous costumes.
"Did you get what you wanted done?"
He raised an eyebrow for a moment as she showed him the coconut bra. He had seen that worn in some pictures in the archives from the scientists.
"Believe it or not, that's not the weirdest thing I've seen for a costume. You should check the archives when you get the chance, after we get back."
He walked over to the bed and sat down, looking around at the mess.
"I got started what was needed to be done. I also found some pieces of art worthy of keeping from the mansion. The rest is just going on the black market."
He really planned on just taking a few simple outfits, some swim trunks, and a suit for when they would go to a formal event. It didn't take him long to gather up what he wanted.
"Well, I am packed. Now we just have to wait on you and Talia."
