Moving into the dark (Closed)

She looked back over her shoulder as he gave the three choices. Already she felt the control she had moments ago slipping passed hers, even with one look towards the guard. She has heard the rumors of what he did last time and truth is, she is surprised it didn't happen this time.

It was clear that she is interesting in what he had to say and she turned her attention more towards him. She wanted to slap that smug look he had, more than anything she wanted beat him herself. For some reason she didn't send for the guards though, holding her hand up to stop them. The way he held himself told her that would take down anyone in his way, although she doubted he would kill her. After all he had the chance to do so in her room.

"You claim I have freedom, yet you make threats if I do not listen to you. What if I do not like what you have to say? I can just walk away and not acknowledge you. You have no say in what goes on around here."

He laughed softly for a moment and shook his head.

"Your choices weren't threats. They were more facts of what would happen, depending on you. And you did get freedom, if temporary."

He tossed the stack of papers that was Thanatos's will on the edge of the desk.

"Have a look if you like, of the little joke Thantos had prepared for you. It's all very legal, I assure you."

He grabbed Thantos's journal, flipping through it for a moment.

"Just so you know, Thantos has set things up so that you will die tonight, if things continue without interference. Would you care to know how or why?"

The shadow hand moved up along along Kyleen's body to begin petting along the top of her head, just so show he was paying attention to her as well.

She stood in the doorway listening to him and glanced at the stack of papers. She didn't need to read too far into it the first page to see what it was. For a moment she almost went to grab it to read more details, though she didn't want to get to close to him again. Being at the door would at least alert the guards.

"We all know the truth about me. Which means you also know that I am.... was.... just a puppet to him and nothing more. I may not wish for death, but who am I to stop him from doing so? Am I not just a creation after all? As for the why."

She sighed and looked towards Kyleen, noticing that she has calmed down more and relaxed with the petting. There is a hint of admiration for Kyleen sparking in the clones eyes. Though she shook her head, giving herself another reminder as to why Zion wouldn't truly care about her.

"There are many reasons for the why. One is because of her, if she came back, there can not be two of us. Another, perhaps he was afraid that I would find this will and kill him first. The list is endless. The hows are just as endless, knowing him, it would most likely be in my sleep. Or in the food I ate. Perhaps his favorite method, sticking me in the tank."

There were no real signs that showed she was afraid of death, she knew her fate. It wasn't anything Thanatos had told her either, she read some papers in the lab that told her everything. Then later on caught a few other hints when she read over his shoulder once. She wasn't clueless about what she is or why she is here.

"So what does any of this have to do with you being here? Why do you care what happens to me? What is in it for you?"

She tried to stay strong and put on a face of being in control, though at times her voice would falter and give her nerves away. A couple of times she stopped herself from taking a step back, lifting a foot and then slowly it would go back in place.

He was silent as he listened to her speak, taking her words. He smirked for a moment at her questions, leaning forward to place his hands on the desk.

"It should be obvious what I've wanted from the beginning. I am a thief, and a killer, but not a destroyer."

He decided to was best to reveal himself fully to the clone, well as much as he could. He reached up and slipped the contacts from his eyes, blinking his red eyes for a moment before focusing on her again.

"I wanted to take everything that was valuable to Thanatos from him. His life, his work, treasures, even you. You may think you are just a clone to her," he nodded towards Kyleen for a moment,"but you are valuable in your own way. Wasting such treasure is just ludicrous."

He tapped the papers for a moment as he continued to speak.

"I offer you your life, to make more of yourself than a mere clone. After all, with Thanatos gone, that leaves you to pick up and continue with things how you like. I know how to prolong your life beyond tonight."

She watched with caution as he removed his contacts and saw his red eyes, this is where she took a step back. Only to turn around and laugh at the things he said. Ever so slowly she was growing less afraid of him, despite what he had done in her room.

"Fine, you won. You have taken everything from him, including his life.... Don't tell me you had no part in his death."

Shaking her head, not believing that she is still speaking to this man when every nerve in her told her to walk away and hope he will get bored of being ignored.

"You keep saying that it would be a waste to kill me. Only to turn that around and threaten to kill me. One way or another, my so called freedom is the cost of my life. If I don't obey, you will kill me... If I do obey, I am still a puppet, only the puppet master has a different face. Where is the freedom in that?"

Her head pounded with many different emotions. Anger because she knew he is toying with her, fear for her life, mixed emotions towards Thanatos' death. Not to mention the mess that she is now stuck with having to clean up. With a heavy sigh she glanced at the guards waiting for her, then turned her attention back to Zion.

"You can not promise that I will live to see tomorrow. Even if I do make it through the night, live to see next week. I still have nothing. I have no funds since the vault is empty, most likely because of you. I will have no say in how things are run around here because you are obviously taking over. You gain everything and I am still just a pawn in all of this, I have no future of my own free will."

More and more it became a struggle to hold back and keep any resemblance of composure as she faced him. Some part of her felt as if she is making a deal with the devil himself. The price, well.. her soul of course.. assuming clones have a soul to give.

"Where is my gain in this game of yours? What is that you want of me if I am so valuable?"

He just continued to smirk throughout the whole tirad of the clone's, seeing how little she knew. She was right on some things, but very wrong on others. Once she began questioning his motives, he chuckled a little.

"First, you are correct in that you were a pawn of Thanatos. This whole wedding was a farce to try and capture us in the first place. Thanatos is really the one to blame in all this. We were pawns as well, albeit stronger than he had expected."

He sighed and shook his head for a moment.

"Sadly, you are mistaken in my threatening you with death. I never planned on killing you. As I said, that will happen tonight weather I act or not. Thanatos planted a device in you to kill you at midnight. I can remove it."

He sat back in the chair, looking to see how Talia and Kyleen were taking things.

"As far as funds go, that is no problem. I only took the treasure from the vault, not the actual money Thantos has set aside. Check his account book if you don't believe me. There are more than enough funds to keep this place going for years to come."

He steepled his hands for a moment before continuing.

"I have no plans to take anything from you. Think of me as merely the Overseer of things here. You will control of what goes on here, freedom to do what you wish with things. I merely want control of what Thantos was working on. As far as your true value, that remains to be fully seen. Now, what do you say?"

As she stood there listening to him, the tears finally escaped as he mentioned that she would die one or way or another. It also it meant that if she agreed to let him take it out, he would have to touch her again. Shaking her head and closing her eyes for a moment in disbelief of the situation. Thanatos actually killing her did catch her off guard, in reality had no reason, at least none that she could think of. It no longer mattered what his reasons were now, he is gone and if she is gone too, there would be no one here to take over the manor.

She glanced at the other two females, seeing Kyleen fast asleep and hearing the soft pur coming from her direction. Talia still read the journal, but had a knowing look in her eyes as she looked up to watch them two interact. The clone didn't want to be a third wheel or however many wheels he has going.

"And what happens to me concerning what you did earlier? Am I just another notch in your belt for your to forget about? Or am I just something you can rape anytime you feel like it? Will I be able to chose my own mate?"

Her hands instinctively went to her belly, suddenly recalling how it all felt and the rush of his seed filling her womb. Honestly she didn't know if she could get pregnant being a clone. But if she is capable, she wondered for a split second what he would do with the child that would clearly be his. Then she tore her gaze from Kyleen and looked back at the papers on the desk, seeing a few key things in it. Once again, the most important thing has been left out, even in his death Thanatos never gave her name of her own.

"Also what of my name? In that will he just says 'my wife' and to the world I am known as Kyleen. I have no identity of my own. I do not even posses my own look, I am her and nothing more."

He was quiet as she posed her questions to him, very good ones. He hadn't really finalized everything to do about her, but that would come with time.

"You would be under my protection, part of the pack."

He did chuckle softly for a moment.

"These two are more than enough of a handful for me, so you would be free to choose your own mate. You will be able to live your life without me trying to rape you again."

He hmmed softly for a few moments before speaking once more.

"Your name is yours to choose. Things can be made to satify the conditions that are called for in the will. Once all that is finalized, things can be done to change your looks, make you more unique if you wish. Thanatos may have advanced cloning, but what he did is nothing compared to what I can do for you."

She tried to find a flaw in his offer but found none that she could argue with. Looking at the other two females they seemed to be happy with him instead of afraid. It didn't feel right to her though, a moment of having an offer that sound too good to be true and without a high cost. Or so it seems.

"What is the catch? How can I trust you?"

Already as she asked that, she was already thinking of a name for herself. Then she glanced at the time seeing she still had a few good hours before midnight. It is only dinner time and thanks to him, they were all missing the wedding meal.... With a sigh and shaking her head to get back on track here.

"I-I- I wish to be called Alicia. As for this death trap inside of me... how do you propose we get it out?"

It is still too soon for her to fully process everything and she kind of wished she could sleep as easily as Kyleen appeared to be. Though, she didn't know how rough of a day Kyleen had either. Not that her own day hadn't been all that easy. She called a maid over and whispered something in her ear, the same maid that Zion sent out. And after a moment of talking, the maid ran off down stairs.

"If you wish, we can talk more detail over the remains of the dinner feast. I have not ate at all day today and I am starving. I need some time to think about this. Today has been a lot to take in and it is difficult to think right now."

He smiled and nodded at her offer of eating.

"That sounds like a fine idea. I haven't eaten myself, and I am sure they are hungry too. You go ahead and see to your guests, and we'll be down shortly. And you can call me Zion, Alicia. Though for now, just call me Justin."

He tapped the id he had clipped on the breast pocket of his outfit. He turned his attention from her as he replaced the contacts in his eyes once more, blinked. Looking at Kylern, he decided it would be best to leash her so whoever was hunting her couldn't get ahold of her yet.

As he stood up from the chair and moved towards Kylern, the petting hand moved from her head down to her neck. It formed a snug black collar around her throat, forming a short leash as well. He grabbed the leash before giving her a hard smack on the ass.

"Wake up little one. It's time for dinner."

Alicia smirked as he kept pretending to be a reporter, though said nothing about it as she walked off. As a second thought, she turned to look back towards him as he stood up.

"Oh, and try not to kill anyone else.... It is still my day... It seems, more ways than one now. I would like it to end peacefully."

With that, she left to go down stairs with the guards. There were not many guests left as things died down and it no longer was fun for them. Some did remain to support the bride if she needed and had nothing better to do. There was still a lot of confusion and most of them were happy to see that Alicia is not harmed.

~~~~~~~~~
"OOOWWWW...."
Kyleen yelped at the smack and quickly reached to rub the burning area while glaring at him. Talia laughed as she put the journal back on the desk.
"Doesn't seem as though Alicia likes you very much. Do you think she will come around eventually?"
Talia laughed while recalling how Alicia stayed at the door and never once came in the room, then seeing Kyleens' reaction to the leash only had her laughing more. Kyleen sat up as her eyes adjusted to the room and gave a very confused look at the leash as her ears went down slightly. Instead of questioning his intentions, she got up and stopped for a moment to look down at the mark, lifting her shirt up more to see it better.
"It is burning again. It doesn't hurt too much, just stronger than before... And it is throbbing, almost like a heartbeat that isn't mine."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Meanwhile downstairs all the servants were hustling everywhere at once to get things cleaned up. The explosion made a lot of dishes fall and some crystal ware shattered with wine pooling all over the place. Among other dishes that didn't quite make it through all the shaking. At least most of it was saved and the cooks did what they could to make it presentable again.

The elf that has been tracking Kyleen was among the guests and had seen everything, smirking that Thanatos had died. He wondered who the lucky person was that beat his brother down. Funny thing is, Thanatos didn't even know that he has been here the entire time. It must of been at least 40 or more years since they have last seen each other and around 12 years since they last spoke. He doubts that Thanatos would even remember the promise he had made many years ago. Although, none of that mattered now.

The obstacle that laid in his path now is that big brute guarding Kyleen. He had noticed Zion by his size and the way he holds himself to others. Then of course the two females that were with him at one point, he had no doubts of who they were. Also he can feel his mark, it is very, very faint with the barrier blocking it, but he felt the nagging tug all the same. It wasn't nearly strong enough for him to actually pin point Kyleen, just enough to know she is around.

Mikail (the elf) Saw the recent widow coming down the stairs with a lost glazed as if she didn't know what to do with herself. Which, she didn't with Zions offer filling her every thought. He figured now would be a good time to make himself known, if nothing else, to find out what she knew of Thanatos' death.

"It is a terrible thing to lose a husband on a day such as this one. Please, allow me to make this day better for you."

Mikail bowed and held out a hand for her to take, in reality he didn't expect much, though he noticed she was without any real friends. The worst thing that would happen is she'll turn him down and walk away. Instead, Alicia looked at him curiously, then back at her guards and all the sudden Zion in the back of her thoughts. She really didn't have much else to lose at this point and had enough protection being out in the open.

"Very well... You can escort me to dinner."

She didn't take his hand, nor get too overly close to him as they exchanged names while walking towards the dining hall.

He laughed for a moment at Kyleen's reaction to the leash. He looked towards Talia for a moment at her question about Alicia.

"I'm sure she will, with time. We probably just overwhealmed her with a lot to deal with. She's just new to this all."

He gave each of the a kiss for a moment before smiling.

"Let's go and eat. It is a joyous occasion after all, well for us at least."

He laughed for a moment before leading his ladies out of the office towards the reception area. He wasn't quite sure where they were going to sit when the maid he had talked to earlier gestured for them to follow her to the large wedding table. Three seats were on the left side of the bride, typically reserved for the bride's family. However since the clone really didn't have any, he got it.

Mikail escorted the bride to her seat, bowing for a moment. He went to another table, noticing that Kyleen was with the same large man as earlier that day. However he did notice that it wasn't the same man he had seen her with the day before. Talia was with him as well, making the elf wonder if the guy had sold or given the two to this man. Either way, he would get back what had been promised to him by his brother Thanatos, Kyleen.

Both of them returned his kiss and Kyleen smiled feeling much better after the cat nap. It wasn't long enough though and she could easily sleep longer, but it was good enough for now. Already she could feel her hormones building up again, luckily not as quickly as before.

The two of them followed him out and Kyleen didn't bother shifting back to the full on human that she came here with. She had changed quite a bit and no one would really be able to tell who she is. Alicia is the Kyleen everyone knew, also she felt safer now that Thanatos is gone for good.

The wolf pack sat at a table next to them so they can try to talk to Talia some more, they waited until everyone else got settled down first, talking amongst themselves. One of them could smell Kyleen being in heat and he gave her a wolfish grin, however, he knew better than to act on instincts. Not only that, Kyleen didn't pay him much attention as she rubbed the mark, attempting to ease its throbbing.

Talia sat next to Zion with Kyleen on his other side, she didn't quite know how to really take all this in. On the outside she played a straight face as always, on the inside, her emotions were confusing. Of course there is a part of her that loved Thanatos, after all he was her brother. Yet, after reading some pages from the journals, she wanted to be angry with him, going as far as hanging his dead corpse to a tree for the ravens. Talia sighed knowing that his remains were not in her control, it was now up to this Alicia chick to take care of them.

Kyleen leaned in to whisper into Zions ear, though not without licking it first and nibbling on the edge while she spoke.

"I smell him Daddy. But there are too many people here, I can't tell who he is... I just smell him."

Alicia watched the elf walk to another table, some tiny part wished he would have sat next to her. But then she wasn't all that ready to seriously entertain someone new, considering she is still dealing with Zion. She watched Kyleen for a moment and blushed at the scene she saw, not knowing that Kyleen is whispering in his ear.

Alicia gave a fake cough after a moment to get their attention and played nice as she smiled while plates of food were being brought out to them.

"Please dig in, there is still plenty of food. I will make an announcement on Thanatos afterwards..."

She paused and took a sip of the wine as a plate of food was placed in front of her and she stared at it for a moment.

"Though I am still uncertain of what to say to everyone..."

Zion gave a little smirk for a moment at Kyleen's whispering, having figured out that whoever had marked her was probably pretty near. He looked over the crowd as Alicia made her little annoucement that she would be commenting a little later. He couldn't tell who it was, as all eyes were on them for the time being. Even the robot was still doing his duty of recording everything on camera, walking among the guests.

"Just speak what you feel. I don't think everyone is expecting anything elaborate."

He grabbed his wine glass for a moment, lifting it up.

"A toast to Alicia and a long life."

He smiled for a moment as he heard agreement from the crowds before taking a large drink from his glass. Beneath the table he patted Kyleen's leg gently, reassuring her for the moment. He would take care of whoever was trying to take her from him, in some form or fashion.

Mikail grinned for a moment as he joined in the little toast before settling in to eat himself. After all, this was a wonderful feast to enjoy. Dealing with the big guy could wait till after dinner, then he felt sure he would get his prize of the kitsune. He could care less about Talia, he just wanted what had been promised to him.

Alicia looked over at him as he stood up and made his toast, and for once, hearing a name that is meant for her. A tiny amount of respect for him crept in and she glanced out among the cheering crowd. Truth is, she has never been the center of attention, nor has she really ever been in control over important matters. Now, she faces these people that expect so much from her, some eyes were asking those silent questions, while others were full of expectations.

For as hungry as she is, the most she could do is pick at the food while her gut twisted in a million different ways. Occasionally she would glance at her arms, or feel a spot here and there wondering if she could figure out where the device hid. At times she would also trace the marking that formed on her neck.

"What will it take to remove thing in me? I'm guessing I'll have to go into the tank won't I?"

Alicia wasn't afraid of it like Kyleen is, but she didn't have to like the idea either, especially without knowing if he will actually take her out of it or not. Thanatos always used it as a punishment, or for testings on her, yet that is also how she is created too, Which meant she knew that it has benefits as well.

Kyleen kept sniffing the air and trying to pin point the male that kept coming after her. Sadly there were too many people and the food filled the air as well, making it all difficult to focus on one particular scent. Eventually she reached for her nerves and glanced around, hoping to make eye contact anyone that felt out of place. She knew that she could handle any fight, even protect herself if needed. What made her feel vulnerable is the idea of being in heat, afraid of pouncing on them and raping them instead of killing them.

Hearing Alicia's question, Zion thought on it a few moments before answering her. He didn't know what Thanatos had done to her, and the tank would probably be the safest bet to get things done with.

"Yes, I think the tank would be the best place to try and take care of things. Lessen any mess as well."

He shifted a little in the seat, wondering what he should do about Kyleen's stalker. Finally, he came up with a little plan. He handed the leash over to Talia to control while he stood up from his seat.

"I need to go and take care of some business. Try and keep her out of trouble."

He grinned for a moment before leaving the table. He was soon moving out of the reception area to find the bathroom. He really didn't ned to use the bathroom, but it was probably a good way to get whoever was following them alone. And as he thought, Mikail excused himself as well from his table. Although he stayed a few feet behind Zion, he wasn't able to get the jump on him as the elf rounded a corner.

The elf came face to face with Zion, almost running into him. Zion grinned and reached up, pressing a hand around the elf's throat before hoisting him up into the air, growling.

"Why are you following me?"

Mikail gasped as he tried to break Zion's grip from his throat. He rasped softly as best he could.

"Wannna..talk..."

Zion smirked and set the elf down, but only lossened his grip a little so the elf could breathe.

"So talk."

"You have something that was supposed to me by mine."

"Is that so? And what is it that you think you were supposed to have?"

"That kitsune, garunteed by my brother Thanatos."

Zion smirked for a moment hearing this little tidbit of news.

"Is that so? Well, sorry for your loss, on both accounts. Was that your little stunt, marking her and putting her into heat?"

The elf smiled and nodded, looking all proud of himself.

"Yes. She belongs to me."

Zion chuckled and then laughed before slamming the elf back into the wall. He moved closer, his mouth only an inch from the elf's ear.

"Listen hear. She is mine, now and forever. You do anything to attempt to steal her, and I will have your head on my mantle. Understood?"

Mikail frowned at Zion's words, but his head was also hurting from the hit against the wall. He could swear that the back of his head left a dent in the wall as well. However this wasn't the time to fight. He just sneered for a moment.

"No, she will be mine."

Zion smirked for a moment, half expecting that answer. He wasn't planning on breaking his promise, but he would press his point. His other fist slammed into the elf's side, breaking two ribs. Zion let the elf go, watching him slump to the floor coughing and groaning.

"If I ever see your face, or catch any scent of you, you will die. Slowly."

Zion turned and walked back out to the others, smiling as if nothing happened.

The three of them watched as Zion disappeared around the corner and Talia grinned, pulling on the leash to give Kyleen a deep, dominating kiss. That naturally had Alicia blushing and couldn't help thinking of Zion again, despite how much she didn't want it to happen. She couldn't deny that some part of her enjoyed it, he did feel incredible inside of her and she would almost be willing to do it again.... almost.

Just as Talia pulled back from the kiss and proceeded to eat again, Kyleen couldn't breathe and acted like something was choking her. Redness formed around her throat underneath the collar and slowly she regained control of her breathing. When they thought everything was fine, Kyleen felt the worse pain in her life and fell to the ground curling up in a ball. She couldn't even scream out as the wind was knocked out of her.

When the mark was created, he wasn't going to make it easy for them to get rid of it, nor him. It wouldn't actually harm her permanently, nor would it kill her. Yet, she would feel everything that is being done to him, if he dies and she still wore the mark, she would feel his death to the very end. The mark is connected to him in more ways than just being able to track her down. The longer it remains on her, the more it'll force her to feel him in anyway he desires.

The mark became an angry, deep fiery red and burned worse than before. However, that isn't the only thing causing her pain. When Talia lifted her shirt up a bit more, bruising formed along her ribs, the same spot where Zion punched the elf. Her ribs were not broken, although she felt as if they were. By the time Zion returned to the girls, a small crowd had surrounded Kyleen and Alicia cradled her trying to comfort her.

Mikail stood where he was as he watched Zion move back to the reception. He rubbed his chest for a few moments, smirking. He wasn't through trying to get Kylern, but he was patient and would wait for another oppruntinity to take her. The elf made his way out of the manor, to make more plans.

Seeing the crowd gathered at the table around Kyleen, Zion frowned and move quickly to see what happened. He pushed a couple of people aside to get closer, seeing Alicia cradling Kylern.

"What happened to her?"

He caught a glimpse of the bruises on her stomach before reaching out to lift her shirt up further. It took a moment to see they had radiated out from the mark, making him shake his head. The mark would need to go, but that would have to wait.

"I'm going to check your injuries."

He placed his hand on her stomach, squeezing gently. He took his time to feel along her chest, but was happy not to find any permanent or harmful injuries.

"I don't feel anything broken, so that's a good thing."

Kyleen couldn't focus on anything in those few moments, being on the verge of passing out from so much pain. When he arrived, her body had gone into shock and trembled with his hands touching the areas. Talia didn't know how to answer his question considering she didn't even know what happened.

"We don't know really. One moment she was fine, we were kissing, next thing she started gasping for air and now this."

Both Talia and Alicia were relieved to hear she had no broken bones. Talia pulled the collar just enough for him to see the now faint redness. The marking slowly calmed down as the elf left and the bruising didn't look nearly as angry, though a hint of it remained as a reminder.

Kyleens' breathing finally caught up to her and it took a moment for her to get it under control again. Once the pain faded and she felt less dizzy from the shock, she instantly wrapped her arms around him tightly. She didn't know what had happened and it frightens her to know that she is this vulnerable to an attack. No amount of training could have prepared for that.

He gave a bit of a smile when Kylern hugged to him tightly. As far as he could tell, she was going to be fine. However he felt that she would need further examination. That would mean a trip into the tank for her, which she wouldn't like.

"Everything should be ok, but I should examine you more closely. You won't like it, but you will need to go into the tank little one."

He continued to hold her, cradling her softly. He kissed the top of her head for a moment before looking to Alicia.

"If you still want my help, then I suggest showing us to his lab. Plus I think the guests might have had enough excitement for one day."

He carefully scooped up Kylern into his arms, carrying her as he dismissed the leash and collar.

Kyleen curled up in his arms and snuggled against his chest. The scent of the elf was all over him and she glanced for a moment, wondering what he did. The mark wasn't gone so clearly the elf still lived. Instead of asking about it, she just shrugged it off, not even enough mental energy to protest the tank. Though, she always ended up in the tank when she did protest, which led to keeping silent and try to relax.

Alicia called a guard over and had him lead the way to the labs. She told them that she would be there soon, there other matters to deal with... mainly the guests. She lifted up her glass and tapped it loudly to get everyones attention. Once all eyes were on her, she froze for a moment with a blank stare. Then seeing Zion and a few other leaving the area, she snapped back and took in a deep breath.

She confirmed that Thanatos is dead and told everyone that she is in control of the manor now and that some major changes were in the future. A few people asked about Nightmare and she didn't answer most of them, but she did promise that he is no longer a threat. That he took all the treasure and clearly got what he was after. Of course they wanted more details, but she dismissed them all, calling the guards over to escort them out. Not out of aggression, mostly as a precaution to anyone that decides they can't take no for an answer.

Alicia didn't waste any time in leaving the party, appreciating the fact that everyone was peaceful about it. Smirking at the idea of what she'll see in the papers tomorrow. A few moments later she came into the lab, a little hesitant at first since it has been a while for her.

"You promise you will not keep me in there? To forget about me....

Then she smirked and looked at him almost playfully.

"or worse yet, do some kind of perverted game with me?"

When he was led to the labs, he foundt a place to set Kyleen down so he could see what he had to work with. Thanatos's lab was a little cruder that his own, designed work with robotic instruments rather than nanite technology. It was also take some getting used to.

He had the robot bring in the medical supplies, mostly just the healing nanites. Those he dumped into the tank, letting them multiple within Thantos's fluidic formula. He also had the feeling that he would have to kill Alicia anyway, just to pull out whatever type device Thanatos had placed inside her.

He was finishing the last of his preparations when Alicia came in. He chuckled for moment, looking towards her.

"Of course I won't forget you. You will be right in front of me. As far as games, who knows."

He grinned and winked before motioning her to get into the tank.

Alicia didn't know why she is trusting Zion with this, sad truth of the matter is, she really didn't have much of a choice. It isn't like she could operate on herself, sure she can run the programs for the bots, but if something went wrong...

With a heavy sigh she disrobed in front of everyone, it isn't like she had anyone no one has seen before. She put the hood on that allows her to breathe and soon she climbed the few steps to sink into the tank. Glancing towards Zion one last time before submerging her head and closing her eyes. Her heart and breathing raced while she fought with herself to stay in the tank. The trust she had for Zion held together by a very thin thread and one wrong move could snap it. Worse case is that she dies and naturally nothing else would matter after that.

Kyleen watched from the spot he laid her in and was amazed that she went into the tank so willingly. Although, Kyleen isn't as afraid of the tanks like she used to be since being in them a few times with Zion watching. This lab however brought back a few painful memories and she didn't think she could go into these particular tanks.

Talia stayed with Kyleen and petted her hair while watching all the going ons and checking out the lab. She hasn't been in here before, at least not that she is aware of.

"Is there anything I can do to help you?"

Talia finally asked while turning her attention back to Zion.

He smiled as he watched Alicia get everything ready herself and into the tank without any fuss. He was going to do what he could to make sure he held up his end of the bargain, as he was a man of his word. Hearing Talia ask if there was anything she could do, he nodded.

"Sure, you can come and monitor her vitals for me. Depending on how things go, the worst case scenerio is probably going to happen."

He tapped a few keys for a moment, bringing the xray system online. It took a few seconds for a complete picture to be take of the clone. As Thantos had promised, a bomb had been planted in her body. It was actually wrapped around the fourth vertabrate of her spine. A counter on it was shown 02:15:03 as the moment of capture. He sighed for a moment.

"It's just as I feared."

However before he continued to speak, he released chemicals into the fluids to put Alicia asleep, just in case she was listening. He waited a couple of mins before speaking again.

"She will have to die in order to be saved. The medical nanites should be enough to repair and bring her back though. Ready?"

Once in the tank, the hood sealed around her head blocking out all her senses which allowed her easily slip into the darkness and silence. That is normally the part she hates the most, and this situation didn't ease her right away as she couldn't tell if they were still there or not. A few moments after the sleeping drug hit, her vital signs were stable and relaxed as she fell deeper and deeper into nothingness.

Talia slipped away from Kyleen to sit at the computer like he wanted and checked it all. Neither one of the girls liked the idea that she had to die, finding this to be pointless if that is the case. Then he turned it around by saying that she can be brought back. Both of them forgetting momentarily that Alicia is a clone and it wouldn't be too complicated to piece her back together.

Kyleen watched the two of them for a time until she saw some old logs with her name on them and reluctantly picked them up. Some of the much older logs talked about her parents, they were unnamed, only given a number but she knew deep down who the subjects were. Especially when one talked about being pregnant during testings. Her ears twitched when hearing Talia talking to Zion after a few good minutes had gone by.

"It looks like she is in a deep sleep now, everything looks good from here. I think we are good go when you are ready."
