Moving into the dark (Closed)

Rayna wanted to keep the vehicles for parts but she didn't want to waste the time to dismantle them. With a heavy sigh she ran them off the cliff, though there was one out of the three that she just couldn't destroy. It was just too much to her liking, she did go through it carefully putting all the crap into the second car before it went over the cliff. Tearing off any real identification that it held, though it was most likely stolen in the first place anyway. It needed some fixing up to make it more usable to her liking, though that is something she enjoys doing so it worked for her.

She had one of the robots help her take it down into the garage area after making sure it was clean and clear, considering she didn't know the code to open the door. It also helped distract her from thinking too much on Kyleen, knowing that Zion would take care of her. It also didn't take Rayna long at all before she started stripping the paint off the car getting it ready for when she goes into the city. Having a car that she really liked was a rare thing for her, this one just called to her and she was determined to make it hers.

Kyleen was barely breathing and a few muscles here and there were still twitching from the shocking. There were burn marks on the bare flesh of her arms, belly and face from where the net had touched. Her tails only moved as he walked from the natural gravity, some of the fur had also burned making them almost unrecognizable. Other than that she laid lifeless in his arms.

Zion had noticed that Rayna had kept one of the cars despite what he told her to get rid of them. He didn't say anything yet, as he was taking care of Kyleen first. He decided to take her to the tank to care care if her.

He didn't put Kyleen back into her tank suit, only strip her clothes from her carefully. Once he did that, he removed the broken chip from her neck carefully. He would come up with a replacement later.

After placing her in the solution, he released the medical nanites to do their work. It would still take time for her to be heal, so he stayed at the console to monitor her vitals.

Rayna took her time stripping the car down, in reality it only took her about three hours to figure out what it needed. There was no doubt in her mind that Zion would be unhappy that she kept it, though she did hope that he would allow her to keep it. If he seriously wanted to get rid of it though she would, for now it did keep her busy and out of his way while he took care of Kyleen.

Eventually she cleaned herself up a bit and found Zion watching Kyleen in the tank. Though she didn't see the shape she was in when he brought her home, Kyleen's fur told her what happened. Rayna watched the fur being repaired as she walked up to the tank to get a closer look of the healing process.

"How is she doing?"

Rayna asked, avoiding the issue of the car for now. Just as she asked that, Kyleen started to wake up with the last thing she remembered. Her whole body seized up as if it was being shocked still, her heart raced wildly and started breathing hard as her mind tried to wake up more and process what was happening.

After another moment or two her body finally relaxed once it realized it wasn't being shocked anymore. Shortly after the panic started to creep in the more she woke up, not knowing where she was right away or who had her, let alone what they were doing to her. The heart started racing faster and she couldn't gain control over her breathing as her tails started glowing and twitching, preparing to protect herself if needed. All her thoughts knew was of the last thing that happened, being snagged in the net and some elf and ogre looking down on her.

The sides of the tank were clear, so Zion was forced to use the visual method to communicate with her. He moved from the seat at the console to the tank, standing there. After a moment he knocked softly on the side of the tank. The liquid muffled the sound a bit, but that helped to direct the sound to her.

"She should be fine,"

He rapped on the tank once more, watching her.

"We'll talk about the car later."

It took a moment for Kyleen to fully realize there was a knocking sound and after the second time her eyes shot open. The first thing she saw were two blurring forms staring at her. Instantly she thought it was the elf and the ogre until the vision became a little more clearer.

The second knock brought her attention towards Zion and slowly she started to calm down. The glow of her tails faded and slowly closed her eyes as she focused on her breathing, relaxing a bit more knowing she was safe.

Rayna didn't say much as she kept watching Kyleen for a moment or two before moving to sit at the console, looking over the monitors.

"What happened to her? Did you kill the fool that did this to her?"

"I'm not sure, but I think the mastermind who did this got away. I did kill his sidekick though."

Zion gave a little smile to Kyleen for a moment, placing a hand on the glass for a moment. It would take the nanites a few minutes to get her to the point of being able to get out of the tank in a reasonable good state of health. He pulled out the rolled up parchment, tossing it on the console.

The parchment unrolled, revealing Kyleen's face on it with reward printed beneath it.

"The sooner we take care of Thanatos, the better."

It wasn't long before Kyleen was sleeping in the tank after she fully calmed down, letting the healing process do its thing. Rayna stared at the paper for minute or two then sighed heavily after another moment she picked it up and sniffed it, noticing that familiar scent all over it.

"I guess this answers one thing that has been bothering me. A few days ago I saw a tracker on the beach, though he left after a couple hours."

Giving the parchment another sniff and shaking her head with some confusion.

"There is a scent that keeps coming up that is bothering me even more. It almost smells like my ex mate.... but I don't understand how that is possible. It was strong in one of cars as well."

She tossed the flyer back onto the console, leaning back in the chair wondering why she keeps smelling him.

"How do you plan to take care of Thanatos? He ran like the chicken he is that night you came storming in."

He was quiet for a few moments as he listened to Rayna speak her mind about who she thought the leader was. He smirked for a moment before turning from the tank to face her.

"Thanatos is a coward, pure and simple. He would let others sacrifice themselves before getting their hands dirty. Although my plan is a bit like that as well."

He moved to the console and picked up the flyer, crumbling it up.

"She is the plan."

He pointed to Kyleen for a moment before continuing, pressing a button on the console. His tank suit dissolved to the floor before he stepped away from it, letting it reform on the floor.

"He wants her back so eagerly, I don't might giving her back, with interest. Who better to plunge the knife and twist, than the very thing you prize? It will still be a little bit before Kyleen is ready, but she will be. Would you care to be there when she takes the final step of freeing herself?"

He smiled to Rayna for a moment before picking the suit up and replacing it on the wall.

Rayna was silent and stunned while listening to his plan and desire to use Kyleen in such a way. Looking towards the kitsune in the tank though, seeing how peaceful she seemed in that moment.

"Do you really think she can do that? He did raise her, he's the closest thing to a father figure she's ever had. A poor one sure, but...."

She fell silent again after recalling the fight scene she saw in the video he showed her. There was no doubt that Kyleen could pull it off and yet....

"She has never had a killer instinct. The motivation or need, desire.. whatever you wish to call it is something she's never felt. Hell, she has a hard time seeing death half the time, it used to traumatize her a child."

After shaking head and having thoughts full of doubts she shrugged.

"Yea, I would like to be there... if nothing else to see if she can actually do it."

He chuckled for a moment at Rayna's comments. He moved to the console, calling up the footage during the fighting.

"Shall we see how much she has grown?"

He sat back as he let Rayna watch the footage of Kyleen fighting till she was out of sight of the cameras.

"Her training had sevred her well, but she still needs work. Now about your little acquisition, little wolf. That's quite the risk you took to disobey my orders and bring in strange equipment."

He looked at her for a moment, shaking his head.

"Have it disassembled completely, checked for bugs and bombs, before rebuilding it. Got it?"

Rayna raised an eyebrow towards him as she watched the footage of Kyleen fighting and needless to say, she was impressed.

"So..... Does Kyleen know what your plans are for her? Do you think training her like this will change her too much? Like emotionally, she's always been a lover. It would be a shame to lose that part of her."

It made her wonder what else he has been doing to Kyleen in there, getting the feeling that he is experimenting on her in other ways than just training her to fight. Deep down she had no doubts that Kyleen would make a good fighter, after all that's one of the many things kitsunes were good at.

"What reason will she have to motivate her enough to actually kill him? In her eyes she is free from him, she has no reason to go back there."

Looking up at him for a moment when he finally mentioned the car, she just smiled as she can understand his disapproval of her actions. At the same time she was smart enough to check for such things before bringing it inside.

"I have already with one of the robots help, that's where I've been all this time. Most the parts are rusted out, half the wires were dead it's amazing it ran at all. You can go look if you want, it's just a skeleton now, seems like I have other reasons to go into the city."

He was quiet for a few moments before he shook his head for a moment.

"If things are done right, by all of us, I think Kyleen should be just fine. You should probably talk to her about that all yourself when she wakes up. I don't want to say the wrong thing."

He moved to the console, pressing a few buttons. Reading a few displays, he turned to Rayna for a moment.

"You might be able to find a few parts in the garage, not sure. I don't really sped time down there, that's all the work of the robots. And they should let you in, until I setup your clearance for the rest of the base. I'll stay and watch Kyleen till she waits up, since her commlink was broken. Go ahead and work on whatever you need."

"It is a pretty old model but I'll look around. I do apologize for disobeying you, it's just one of my favorite models that I couldn't toss it."

After standing up to head back out she took a look at Kyleen and sighed as she walked to where he was sitting.

"I won't say anything to her. It seems you know what you are doing with her and she does seem happy. I may have mixed feelings about the idea, however, I will trust you with whatever it is you are doing to her."

Rayna wrapped her arms around him and kissed him on the cheek, playfully nipping his ear.

"You can punish me later if you wish... but I do thank you for letting me keep the car. I promise it won't be recognized by anyone when I am through with it."

Giving him another playful nip on the neck before she let go of him and went to leave for the garage.

Kyleen started dreaming about the chase with the elf and also the fight she had with the orc. In the dream she watching herself kill the orc while recalling how it made her felt, then after losing the elf, it felt like she had failed. On the monitors it showed how the dreams were affecting her by the speeding of her heart and soon she started panting hard all over again.

He chuckled for a moment when she wrapped her arms around him and kissed his cheek. He returned the hug as she nipped on his ear for a moment. He growled playfully for a moment, but smiled anyway.

"Oh, you will be punished later wolf."

He gave her ass a smack for a moment as she pulled away, watching her leave, He turned back to the console, watching Kyleen sleep. There really wasn't much he could do for her, other than let her sleep. He frowned as he watched her heart rate go up, shaking his head. Sedatives could possibly help, but she was already asleep. It couldn't hurt, so he gave her a bit of sedatives before leaning back in the chair, watching time pass.

Within a few seconds the sedative kicked in and soon the dreams calmed down right along with the heart. After about another hour or so later Kyleen started to wake up and tried to speak, not knowing that the com link was broken. Though when she got no signal or any response, she opened her eyes to try and see who was around and trying to piece together everything.

The sedative and the healing process made her groggy and it didn't help that everything was blurry from the liquid in the tank. The light made it painful to keep her eyes open for long, however she did manage to see a figure sitting at the console and she just assumed it was Zion. Considering she was waking up like this instead of in the program, her only guess was that he had intentions on taking her out soon.

Her head hurt too much to think about it too much though and since she couldn't really communicate with him, all she could do was wait.

He had dozed off for a bit while watching the monitors, his head resting on the console. He woke up a little bit after Kyleen did, yawning for a moment. He smiled seeing her vitals were steady, looking towards the tank. Seeing her awake, he waved for a moment before pressing the button to retrieve her from the tank.

He waited on her to be pulled out, watching her carefully. He figured she might need a bit of help, smiling as the lift set her down. He placed one hand on her waist, the other on her left shoulder as he steadied her on her feet.

"Feeling better little one?"

He kissed her softly on the forehead before pulling her into a hug.

There was some panic at the sudden lifting as she wasn't expecting it, though she did her best to not freak out completely. Also, she was just plain to exhausted mentally to let the panic control the situation, she has always been a sleep when being lifted. Kyleen did lean up against him as her balance was a bit off and her legs all the sudden shaky.

"Yes I am feeling much better. Though it feels like I failed you. I couldn't catch the one and I never saw or caught any scent of the other one.... I wasn't fast enough... I.."

For as much as she wanted to let the tears break free, she didn't let them, instead she was being too hard on herself. Getting caught was eating her up, even though she knew deep down there was no way for her to see it coming.

"It was like that guy with the net was never there. Almost like copter vanishes with its cloaking device... I.. never sensed him."

He held her for a little longer, his fingers running along her back gently.

"You won't be able to win every fight love. Despite that, you have to keep fighting."

He pulled back a little to look at her for a moment before kissing her gently.

"You need some more rest for now. We'll discuss this a little more later."

He smiled softly for a moment, holding her hand before taking her back to their bedroom.

Seeing that he wasn't upset and hearing what he had to say made her feel a little better. After returning the kiss and taking his hand to follow him up to the room, she did have to admit relaxing did sound good.

"Since my powers are limited while in the tank, how can I improve my flash step? I want to be faster and stronger."

Her ears lowered slightly as some self doubt started to creep in the more she thought about the chase. Strangely enough she wasn't thinking about her first kill, though for her it wasn't much of a fight and the orc wasn't all that smart.

"Is my com link fixable? Or do I need a new one?"

She reached up to her neck of where it used to be, already feeling the loss of it.

Rayna was too busy working on a design for the car with her nose buried in the computer. The bot that worked there was helping her find parts that would work with that model, though they didn't have a few things that she needed.

It also kept her distracted from thinking about Zion's plan for Kyleen. She wasn't quite sure how she felt about it honestly. Thanatos was her brother after all, he was a good person at one point in his life though power and wealth corrupted him. After she thought about it some more, she realized that Kyleen did have a very good reason for wanting to kill him.

Kyleen only knew part of what he did to her kind, though Rayna saw it all. Then came the question of how to tell Kyleen the full truth. With some thought on that she figured she would talk to Zion first and see what he says about it.

He sat down on the bed, thinking for a moment about her questions.

"Well, the best way for you to improve on it is to practice it. I don't have much more actual training left for you in the tank, so you will be able to practice yourself. I can help you out or setup something in the workout rooms to help you."

He reached up and ran his fingers gently along the back of her neck and down along her spine.

"That comm was badly damaged by the electricity, so I will get you another one. I will have to come up with a way to make sure it doesn't get affect like that again."

Kyleen was slightly happy knowing she didn't have to go back into the tank, it really did get lonely in there after a while. She moved around to lay on the bed, face down so can keep caressing her back while she thought about things.

"That feels good."

Spoke softly while her tails swished happily and she began to purr as she relaxed more.

"Can the robots keep record of my timing or something? A way to see if I am improving, will have to plan out a track like set up maybe. A starting point and finish, I guess treat it like a race."

There wasn't much she could say about the com link, though the thought of getting shocked like that again sent a shiver up her spine. That is something she did not want to experience again.

"I wonder if I can learn how to sense that cloaking crap, I don't know what he used, but I didn't like it."

He chuckled softly for a moment as he watched her lay down on the bed, but he didn't remove his fingers. They continued to stroke along her back as she spoke. His other hand moved to the base of her base, rubbing lightly before he spoke.

"Yes, I am certain something can be arranged to help you practice outside of the tank. There is plenty of space on the lower level."

He paused for a moment as he thought about how to help her out with her tracking problem.

"I will look up in the computer on possible ways to counteract such things for you. I have to help you learn the rest of the equipment anyways."

"I can follow a similar routine you had me on."

There's a part of her than knew she wasn't truly ready to be out of the tank. This last program he had her on was cut short because of her break down. Having her back being caressed started to make thinking difficult. He had a way of calming the negative distractions, his touch was very soothing.

"For as much as I want to deny it... It might do me some good to spend a little more time in the tank."

Kyleen sighed softly as her ears twitched a bit while she tried to think about her training process and enjoy what he was doing.

"I couldn't focus with the last program you made for me. There is still quite a bit I needed to learn from it."

She closed her eyes purring as she squirmed a bit more under his touch.

He smiled for a moment hearing her talk about training in the tank again. It showed him she was improving and growing from the scared Kitsune she had been. His fingers continued up and down her spine as she continued talking.

"You can never have enough training little one. It will keep you fit and strong."

He leaned down over her, kissing her shoulder gently for a moment. He moved to her neck, biting softly on her tender flesh as he gnawed softly.

He ran his thumb over her tail hole gently, rubbing in a small circle as his other fingers rubbed along the base of her tails. His other hand guided up along her neck and into her hair, grasping gently.

Kyleen's hips raised when she felt his thumb pressing against the tight little hole. She wasn't quite sure what his intentions were for that particular hole, though it was pleasant enough that she didn't question it.

She groaned deeply with her hair being gripped, the gnawing on her neck had her purring louder. The lust filled her all too quickly and she started writhing against him, letting the day's events fade.

"I like this..."
