Moving into the dark (Closed)

He laughed softly for a moment when she offered him the first bite. He took the utensil from from her, cutting off a chunk of banana and some ice cream. He ate the spoonful before handing it back to her.

"Go ahead and eat what you want."

He reached up and rubbed her head softly for a moment.

"That's the spirit. You'll turn out for the better, I promise."

Very casually she moved one of her tails under the table and lightly caressed his leg, though she wasn't able to tell exactly where the tail roamed. She ate half of the dessert before offering him the rest of it, surprisingly it did seem to make her feel a little better.

"So, how do I know when I'm ready to come out? What exactly will I be learning and how do I tell if the lessons are done?"

She leaned back into the chair, starting to relax a little more as she kept pushing the fear to the side. It isn't often she is faced with a challenge of this nature, but she does like a good challenge. All the while her tail kept roaming over his legs, caressing him with the silky fur.

He chuckled softly as he felt her tail brush against him while she ate. He raised an eyebrow for a moment when she only ate half of her dessert before offering it to him. He took a couple of bites before answering.

"Well the lessons are going to be short, as far as time goes. The extra time you do get is so that you can practice as much as possible. I would suggest using all you can."

As her tail brushed against his legs and over the top of them, he reached beneath the table with one hand. His fingers reach out and brushed against her soft fur as he let it roam.

"Some of the stuff you will be learning will probably include driving, weaponry, hand to hand combat, and other things the computer gives, possibly a few history lessons, I'm not sure."

Kyleen smiled slightly when she felt his touch and rested the tail on his lap as they talked. Thinking about his answer for a moment.

"I suppose that doesn't sound too horrible. It also sounds like I'll be in there for a while too...."

She tried to hide how that thought made her feel behind a little smile, though her eyes said everything as she looked down at the table.

"I will hold you to your promise. Not sure you want an upset kitsune hunting you down!! Also, you better make this up to me when I do get out."

She stuck her tongue out playfully at him.

He laughed for a moment at her comment about hunting him down. He wasn't going to say exactly why he was going to train her the way he was, but he knew she would be smart enough to figure it out. He also counted on her becoming quite good and perhaps deadly by the time she got out.

"I think I can find some way to make it up to you."

He grinned back at her, giving her tail a playful tug for a moment. He went back to stroke her tail as he smiled.

"Anything else you would like to do in the base before going in? I figured you might want to get things over with, the sooner the better."

The little tug shocked her as she wasn't expecting it and she playfully tried to take it away just before feeling the stroking once more.

"Well, I was kind of hoping to spend one more night with you. But yea.... The sooner I get this done, the better. Otherwise I might just end up changing my mind and keep avoiding it."

If she was to be honest with herself, she wasn't even sure why she was going along with this in the first place. And if she thought it about it more, dwelling on the fear of it, she will start second guessing the why. She had already asked herself why she is willing to believe him at all, since she hardly knew him. The answer always came back to 'he hasn't given her a reason to not believe him.'

"I don't really like to dwell on things, let alone stress over a fear of something. I will admit I don't know why I'm doing this. But if you say it will help me in the long run..... Then I will give it a try."

She gave a deep, heavy sigh looking up to him with a pretend smile.

"I guess I am ready when you are.... Just try to not leave me in there too long..."

Her ears went down slightly as she started to realize more and more what she was getting herself into. There really wasn't any real way for her to be mentally ready for something like this. In her mind, it was best to just do it and get it over with.

He smiled hearing her finally decided to go ahead with this, but he could tell she wasn't too happy with it yet. However the fact she was going forward with it was a good sign to him. He hoped things would go smoothly and he could get her through it quickly.

"I won't leave you in there too long. And I promise to make it up to you when you get out."

He moved from his seat to walk over to her, helping her up carefully. He tilted her head up a little before leaning down and kissing her softly for a few moments. His fingers stroked gently over her soft cheeks for a moment before he broke the kiss, taking her hand in his gently.

"Let's go little one."

She melted into the kiss, almost forgetting the fear that lingered and would in that moment, do just about anything he wanted. The kiss broke all too soon though as he took the lead and she held onto his hand tightly.

"Will I be able to die in there? Like I've heard if you die in the program, your body dies too... Does this program have a chance to do that?"

She was dreading on asking that question, not really wanting to know the answer, however it was a need to know answer. As they went to the lab, she was struggling with herself, fighting to not act or think of this as a punishment, but rather an opportunity. Also, she was focusing on the time on beach yesterday, forcing in the good thoughts and telling herself she'll be on the beach soon enough.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rayna had managed to get the wine rack to move, after three bottles of wine later, and had found the panel hidden at the bottom. There were other things that would make this door open, although she couldn't possibly know the code that was needed. At first she just punched in random numbers, then a few codes she remembered from the lab rats she once knew.
Of course she tried various birthdays.. all the obvious codes. Eventually she just sat down next to the panel, with a fourth bottle of wine, randomly punching in codes.
After not getting anywhere with the codes, she looked at the wall again a little more closely and found a lever. At first she was hesitant, not really knowing what to expect and soon she just decided to pull it, not expecting anything to happen.
The question she asked was an important one, and didn't surprise him when she asked it. He had planned on some danger for her, but he was not planning on going that far. He gave a little nod as he spoke.
"That depends on the safety protocols that are set in place. No, you won't be subjected to that type of danger. If things get to the point of something happening that might cause you to be incapacitated or die, sedatives will be released to put you to sleep for a few moments."
He turned to her while they rode the elevator up to the statis room.
"I am not trying to scare you, but I will warn you that you are going to get hurt, a lot physically when you train in the close quarters fighting. However, like with your sunburn, medical nanites will be there to heal you in a quick fashion."
He could just imagine the possible fear going through her at the moment. However she needed to be able take the pain as well as give it in order to learn.
The fear of what he was saying wasn't nearly as bad as expected, it did hit home though and brought her closer to realizing how real this is. The more he talked about the process and everything that she is going to be learning, the more she started to understand just how long she'll be in there for.
It was the isolation that she feared the most, her ears and head lowered as it all started to sink, twisting her gut into one big knot. More and more it was starting to feel like a punishment and she was running out of good reasons for doing this.
"Is it possible to sedate me just a little before going in? I.... I'm terrified by all of this and I won't be able to keep from panicking."
She spoke softly and was so full of concern, already slowly second guessing herself the closer to the lab they got. The panic was on hanging on by a string, ready to break any second.
"I... I..."
She closed her eyes and bit her lip, forcing herself to keep some kind of calmness. The isolation and not knowing his true intentions kept biting at her, praying that he wasn't lying to her just to get her to do this. He didn't act like that was case, nor did he act like this was a punishment, in fact he was far to calm about all this.
"I can live with the pain and lessons.... It's the isolation of being in there that I don't like. I thrive on interaction of others and I won't have that. I will be alone... that's what I fear..."
He gave a little nod for a moment at her request to be sedated before going into the tank.
"Of course. It will feel a little strange when you wake up, so just try to stay calm and breathe normally."
He kept a gentle, but firm hold on her hand to keep her calm. He wasn't trying to keep her from bolting, but he just wanted her to let her know she was safe. This was obviously going to be tough on her, but he was here to support her.
"I won't leave you alone little one. And I will be there to help you whenever you run into a problem that you might need help with."
After they stepped off the elevator, they went down the hallway passing the open door to the security office. Zion spotted the blinking red lights lit up on a large board, but he ignored them for the moment. When Kyleen went to sleep, he would check on those.
When they arrived at the statis chamber, they stopped in front of a rack of grey outfits. He looking through several before pulling one out and handing it to her.
"This is what you will wear in the tank. The material is lined with nanites which will help create a more real reality, true weight to virtual objects, let you actually feel the virtual world around you. Go ahead and put it on."
The outfit was a grey fully enclosed body suit with a design of black circuitry on the surface. There was even a hole for her tails to go through. The open was a slit from the top of the back down to the middle of the ass, and was slightly bulky.
------
When Rayna tried the handle of the hatch, it moved halfway along the track before stopping. However there was no sound of feeling of anything moving within the door's mechanism. It remained locked.
Since the house was an exit, it had been used like a real house. The family of one of the security soldiers had lived in there, but the signs were few. Most of the belongs had been taken out, and what furniture that was left showed the signs of age. A few pictures in frame could be found scattered in various rooms.
A thick layer of dust covered most of the items, including one picture frame askew in one of the bedrooms. It was of the small group of five scientists who were in charge of Zion's creation, one of whom looked very similar to him.
Kyleen looked over the suit, holding it up to her it looked strange to her and she glanced up at him with some confusion. After a moment she just sighed, thinking that it would be better than being nude like she expected to be. She slipped it on and already felt a tad confined, yet at the same time she was amazed at how light it really felt.
"So, how does it look?"
Doing a playful turn, showing it all off for him.
"It is more comfortable than I expected it to be. I could almost get used to this."
She was teasing though, not really wanting to get used to this idea too much, she was at least trying to find something to keep some good spirits going.
He chuckled and whistled playfully.
"It suits you, but it's not fully fit. One moment..."
He moved to the control console and pressed a button. It would most likely give her a fright at what happened next. The bodysuit tightened around her, skintight to form to every curve of her body, including her ass and pussy. After a moment the tightness lessened up a little, only a few millimeters between her body and the suit.
Microscopic strands connected the suit to her body, like an unfelt carpet between the two. A moment later all her vitals appeared on two of the computer monitors. The suit also created two thin straw-like extensions into her tail hole and up into her vagina. Both conformed along her insides, much as it had along her body, just barely touching her.
He pressed another button and lowered a chair-like platform down. Two arms extended to either side with a curved, non-pointed hook to hook under the armpits and a height adjustable seat.
"Here what I will use to pull you in and out of the tank. The computer will also use it to lift you out in an emergency. Once you are sedated, I'll give you the implant and then put you in. I put the helmet on just before you go in as well. Now, all set?"
Once the suit began adjusting itself to connect with her body, her heart started to race wildly, heat rose to her cheeks at the tightness of certain areas. She gasped sharply at the initial entrance of the tubes, not understanding what was happening, let alone know where those tubes were going.
The need to get this suit off and run hit her like a ton of bricks and it burned in her eyes as the panic started to set in. She couldn't understand what this suit was doing to her and platform looked intimating to her, which seemed to only increase the already racing heart.
"I... I guess I'm all set.... This suit is freaking me out though, I don't like what it is doing..."
She pulled at the sleeve a little as if trying to adjust it or take off, which ever came first.
He saw the initial reaction to the suit, but he expected that from her. Once she said she was ready, he picked up the auto-injector and placed it against her neck. There was a sharp hiss at the release of the medicine, as well as a slight prick. He held her up carefully as she went slowly under.
Once she was out, he carefully place her in the chair. He picked up the VR helmet and place it on her head. It covered the upper part of her head, and down around the back of her skull. The goggles sealed over the ridge of her nose and along the top of her cheeks. The suit finished covering the rest of her exposed skin, but conformed so her mouth was free and able to move.
He picked up another injector with the communicator implant, injecting it through the suit and into the location he had told her. Once finished, he hoisted her up and into the tank. She dropped down till she was floating in the center, neutralized by the liquid.
When she opened her eyes a few minutes later, she would see she was standing on the same beach as the day before. She would be in the same outfit as well, feeling what would be perceived as the sun on her face and a slight breeze. Everything would feel real, and not as if she had on a full body suit.
Kyleen started to panic when she felt the needle pinching her neck and she started to suddenly regret her choices in that moment. The second she felt her legs go numb she grabbed onto him and shook her head frantically, disagreeing with what she felt. Though that is the last thing she remembered before everything went black.
It took a while for her to fully wake up to the sun and sounds of the beach. At first it felt real and brought so much comfort, however after a few moments she was trying to remember how she got out here. Her heart raced as she looked around hoping to find Zion near by, naturally he was no where in sight.
Her breathing became erratic as she ran along the beach towards the cliff where she knew the elevator was suppose to be. However without knowing the code or how to get in, so all she saw was the empty cliff side that overlooked the ocean. It took her several minutes before she started to calm down, closing her eyes and breathing deeply realizing this place is meant to keep her calm.
Eventually she started to explore the general area, knowing this was all part of the program now and there had to be something out here for her to go to.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Rayna was getting frustrated with this wall, even threw a bottle at it as her anger grew. Even she didn't know why she was so obsessed with trying to get it open, it was just a gut feeling she had. After a while she gave up for the night and started to snoop around the house some more, hoping to find some kind clue.

Between the mattress she had found a journal, just skimming through it didn't seem as if there was anything important in it. There were just random notes about a test subject, but she was to frustrated to put any serious thought into it.

The picture was flipped faced down on the desk when she found it and glared at the picture, all she could see was Zion among the group of lab rats. Rayna has always hated scientists and this picture made her wonder if Zion was one of those lab rats. The guy seriously looked like him in so many ways, with as much wine as she drank, it was difficult for her to see the differences.

She did however grow more concerned for Kyleen, wondering just what it is he wanted with her and what he was doing to her. She broke the frame open and took the picture out, looking for any hidden codes or notes on how to open the wall.

He watched Kyleen as she ran around the beach, giving her a little bit to get used to the feel of things. After a little bit, he contacted her through the microphone since she hadn't turned on her commlink. Once she did, he began to talk with her, giving her a little comforting talk for a bit.

After a little while, he began to guide her through the interface she had access to within the program. She could bring up music to listen to, access to whatever clothing she wanted, change locations if she would like, but she didn't have access to the training just yet. He let her know once she had been through lessons, she could bring up practice sessions to do.

"You have plenty of time to play with things before the sleep cycle begins in a little while. And don't worry about sleep or becoming tired while you are awake. I will be giving you some supplements designed to keep your energy level up till time to sleep. Feel free to go wild."

He pressed a few more buttons before speaking again.

"I need to check on something, but the link will be open in case you need something. You will be just fine little one."

Leaving Kyleen to her own devices, Zion went to the security office to check on the tripped sensors. It didn't take him long to find Rayna on camera, drinking herself into a stupor. He grinned for a moment as he continued to watch her for a bit.

I knew the wolf couldn't stay away. I guess she wants to play.

The picture Rayna had broken open didn't have anything on it but a date of the start of the first successful trial run. However that wouldn't have helped her anyways.

Kyleen listened and followed his instructions, her mind was racing right along with her heart, feeling far more helpless than she expected too. There was little choice for her now though, no other direction but forward since she couldn't get out of here on her own.

She played around with the program a bit, fooling around with the outfits, finding a cross between the overview of the beach and the forest behind her. When it came to a house like set up,she didn't know what she wanted and eventually she ended up with just a simple log cottage on the cliff. Surprisingly she was picking up the basic commands fairly quickly as she played around with the environments, finding her perfect place. Oddly enough, she was actually having some fun with it.

Once Kyleen had things set up the way she wanted, she went exploring the new enviroment to find out what was around her now. Even attempted to shift into her kistune form and see what she might be able to do with her powers. He said things didn't work like that in here, but she wanted to try none the less.

Rayna on the other hand wasn't having a very good day. All in all she wasn't that drunk, though she was trying hard to get there, being a werewolf made her tolerance fairly high. It felt like it was wasted day with no sign of Zion or Kyleen all day, no other sign of where they could possbily be other than this secret door.

She growled at not finding anything in the picture, though she did try the date just to try it. Since nothing happened right away, she went to go take a shower and chilled out on the bed reading the journal. OF course with another bottle of wine in hand. It wouldn't take much more to pass out after this bottle though, even if she wasn't full on drunk, she was feeling it creeping up on her.

Kyleen would find that although the suit shifted to accomadate her shape-shifting, the helmet did not. He chuckled softly when the helmet also slipped off before she could recover.

The first week of training was devoted to teaching her how to use firearms, from handguns, rifles, sniper rifles, even the heavy weapons like the RPGs and rocket launcher. She was also taught how to drive the hover bike and helicopter. She was started on an excercise program that emphasized flexibility and cardio, with a little bit if strength training thrown in. Basic lessons of MMA were taught, along with pressure point attacks, due to her smaller form.

So she wouldn't have to leave the little niche of a home, a large training area was created near the house she had made. As he had promised, Zion spent a lot of time talking to her, giving her tips and helping with the lessons. He also continued to tweak the fluids, adding in chemicals he thought would help her out. Some of the chemicals increased her ability to learn faster mentally, kept her energy level high while she trained, and keep her fit.

When Zion wasn't helping Kyleen, he was keeping an eye on Rayna. He even played with her a little by leaving his scent around the house she was hiding in at different times during the week.

The journal Rayna had found was written by the wife in the family who had stayed there. It was mostly day to day stuff, musings on the war, and other things, but nothing really pertaining to what went on in the base.

It took Kyleen two days before she would take the weapons somewhat seriously. It wasn't that she couldn't understand them, or learn how they worked, it had to do with her dislike for them. Kyleen didn't have the mentality to use such things, her heart was never into it as she practiced. As she learned and practiced it became clear that firearms weren't her thing, she was only doing it because it was part of the program.

Everything else took a littler longer to figure out, driving wasn't easy for her at first and she ended up spending an entire day just learning how the helicopter worked. She took to the bike easily and found it enjoyable to ride, if she had it her way she would spend the entire time just riding.

The week went by in a blur and by the end of the week she was emotionally drained. Kyleen missed the outside world and not understanding why it felt like he was training her to be aggressive. That was where she was failing, even with the combat practices she couldn't get the feel for it. The motions were easy enough to learn, the flow and routine she struggled with for a while there, yet there was no emotion, just simply going through the moves.

She got done with the lessons for the day early so she decided to take sometime to herself. Getting into the bikini she wore on the beach, she went down to the water, though she wasn't playing like she normally would be. If fact she appeared to be lost and her ears were down as she walked along the waters edge.

~~~~
Rayna spent the week trying to track down Zion and Kyleen, only scent she ever picked up was his though and it was always around the house. There were a couple of times when she actually saw him and he was without Kyleen which made her very worried. The door never budge for her no matter what pulled or put into the code box, a few times she thought about just blowing up the whole house just to remove the door.
She never showed her frustrations though, especially after learning she was in fact being watched. His scent was enough to tell her he knew she was there. During the week she did manage to find a few of the cameras, however she didn't remove them except for the one she found in the bathroom. The rest she didn't care about, in fact she thought of it as a little taunting game between her and Zion.
It made her wonder how long he'll wait before he'll actually do something about her being there. She made it obvious with the camera that she knew about the door and that she has been trying to get it open. Wondering what he'd do if she actually managed to open it.
She went out for that day to go hunting for food and refresh a few other supplies, along with a few items to help break the door down.
To say Zion was a little disappointed at Kyleen's progress was a little bit of an understatement. He could tell she was a little depressed, which really didn't help either of them. He tried thinking of ways that he could help get her out of her funk, finally coming up with a little bit of a solution.
At the beginning of the second week he gave her the promise of a break from training for the coming weekend. He promised to take her shopping in the city or going to visit the Grand Canyon. The second week's training still trained her in the exercises as the first week, pushing a little harder. He switched her to using hand to hand weapons, as well as more advanced close combat.
At the week advanced, he decided to add a few chemicals to shift her hormones. The add was slowly, since he wasn't trying to turn her into a slut, but to be a little less embarrassed of her sexuality. After all the more she learned to embrace it, the more confident she might be.
Though he was a little disappointed that Rayna removed the bathroom camera, he continued to keep track of her. He continued to taunt her through the week, even going inside the house to snoop when she left the area. He had figured out she knew where the emergency exit was, so he decided to make plans to play with her on that level.
The house protection wasn't the only thing that had be built to keep intruders out, like she was. He turned on the electricity barrier, powerful enough to shock a human to knock them out but not kill them.
The second week was better for Kyleen especially when she found out how much she loved daggers. She learned how to use every type of dagger there was to learn, the daggers connected to a chain were one of her favorites. After a couple of days she decided on a simple outfit that worked and allowed her to move around, while being able to carry many daggers. Leather halter top with black leather pants and on her back she carried a pair of Chrome Sai Black Octagonal Daggers
Her emotional state wasn't getting any better though, at least she wasn't just going through the motions of everything. Most of her focus was on the hand to hand weapons and combat on better ways of using them. At one point her tails were glowing as she practiced, feeling how certain moves created certain energy levels, figuring out how she could use that energy with the weapons. She couldn't really practice that in here, but she could feel how it would be used and those were the things she was focused on the most. The firearms didn't give her this feeling, they felt like she was cheating and had no challenge compared to what this fighting felt.
Towards the middle of the week she started to learn that she needed a reason to fight, all this time she had no reason. Her soul wasn't meant to be fighting for no reason, she couldn't feel it until she thought about Thanatos and everything he had done to her kind. It wasn't until then that she finally started to put some emotion into her training, she had to make him the target in order to get through this.
She could also feel the physical changes in her body as well, it was getting stronger and her agility was lasting so much longer. Even her eyes had changed color, going from bright blue to a deep violet the more she changed. The hormone shots were working just as much, she felt different and more confident with herself. The thought of him at times aroused her when she was off doing her own thing, but she refrained from taking care of those certain needs. It wasn't the same for her, even though she knew he was watching everything she did.
~~~

She could smell the fresh scent that Zion had left behind and it just made her grin knowing he was here snooping around. This week she ran around the house mostly in the nude or just a shirt, just to tease him from time to time. When she went to the door though, she was dressed and ready to go wherever it lead if by chance it opened.

Rayna found out the hard way that she couldn't pry open the door, wondering why all the sudden it was shocking the hell out of her. She tried all kinds of ways to pry it open, using her wolf strength and crow bars, whatever she could get and after a few attempts, she gave up on that idea. The shocks didn't knock her out completely, but they didn't make her happy either.

Eventually she got a sledge hammer and started to destroy the wall around the door, it wasn't easy with the barrier but she was running out of other options.

When she started improving, Zion was happy with the results. She definitely earned her downtime he felt. Just as the last sleep cycle of the second week was about up, he lifted her out of the tank. He lifted the helmet off of her and set it aside as he waited for her to wake up. The liquid gave the suit a shiny film as it dripped off of her, supported by the chair.

He pressed the button on the console, the suit releasing it's hold on her body. It soon became the bulky shape it had before. He stroked his fingers along Kyleen's cheek as she began to stir, kissing her softly for a moment.

"Good morning little one."

Rayna would find that the brick wall was hiding hardened steel behind it. The steel was several feet think, enclosing around the escape tunnel all the way down.

Things didn't seem right when she woke up, especially when she felt him holding her and hearing his voice outside of the mic. To her it felt as if she has been in the tank for a lot longer than two weeks, time and place disoriented her for a few moments. He had told her how long she has been in there, though she found it hard to believe, in fact she had forgotten about his promise sometime during the week.

"Good morning handsome."

She smiled while sitting up, feeling shaky and dizzy as the real world started to catch up to her.

~~~
Once Rayna discovered the steel door she basically gave up on the whole idea of getting in through this way. She thought of the other house she saw, only to realize that it would most likely be the same as this one. With a heavy sigh she flew towards the beach to regather her thoughts and figure out a new plan. She was tempted to just pack up and forget the whole thing, just go on her own way after wasting two weeks on that door and getting no where.
Only thing that really kept her here was thinking about Kyleen, wondering what he has done with her. If he was one of those scientists in that picture, the thoughts of him experimenting on her kept flooding her every thought.
He smiled for a moment, tilting her face up before kissing her softly for a few moments. He broke the kiss and chuckled.
"If you get out of that suit and dressed, I'll take you shopping, as promised. I might even let you fly the copter to the city."
He helped keep her steady until she was ready to actually move again. His fingers rubbed gently behind hers as they waited on her.
"You did much better this week. What helped you out? Something I said?"
