Is anyone going to see Zodiac?

Not me. I'll be happy to wait and rent it later. I'm sure someone here will want to see it though.

Sounds interesting.

We watched Hard Candy tonight. It could have been better.

I saw Hard Candy last summer. It came to our cheap theater and most times when an indy film comes I will go see it. I had no idea what the movie was about other then the little intro for the poster. I really liked this one. For me it showed how someone can deceive and manipulate a person when you show them what they want to see/believe.

Of course I couldn't help thinking that Dateline's To Catch a Predator could take a few ideas from this movie. LMFAO.

Fury :rose:

Now that would be must see TV.....lol

The other night my girl and I watched Imagine Me & You. It was her idea because the guy who played Giles on Buffy was in it. It wasn't what we expected. It was about lesbian love. I don't like the whole I'm with someone else but I can't help myself thing. It was still enjoyable. The characters were good. The ladies were HOT!

Today my girl and I watched Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny. I had NO idea what this was about. It's a metal parody. It's hilarious. It's stupid funny.

I saw the movie Last King of Scotland yesterday. I think I missed something. I left the movie unsatisfied. The performances were good and the movie, but I just can't put my finger on it it.

Some times I think my expectations are too high going into a movie.

That happens to me sometimes. It really sucks when it does. That's why I ttry not to expect too much from movies. Sometimes it works, but sometimes it so doesn't.

I went and saw Black Snake Moan it was powerful and it blew me away. I thought I knew where this movie was going, but then it turned and surprised me. Some of the scenes were intense and disturbing to watch. Jackson has an impressive blues singing voice. I am going to have to check out the sound track to this flick.

Okay, so how does Moan compare to Hustle and Flow?

We watched Zoom which was pretty stupid.

Also we are watching Pretender again, Joan of Arcadia and more Ellen.

Hey Fury,

I never saw Hustle and Flow.

I agree with you on Inside Man, but I had to pay.

That first movie had the song "It's Hard Out Here For a Pimp." It won an award!

I can't to hear what you think. I have read some really good reviews about this movie.

The Last Mimzy- PG 13 Two children discover a mysterious box that contains some strange devices they think are toys. As the children play with these "toys," they begin to display higher and higher intelligence levels. Their teacher tells their parents that they seem to have grown beyond genius. Their parents, too, realize something extraordinary is happening.-taken from yahoo movies.

Thanks! That does sound interesting!

Let me know how it is, please.

Sounds like something that would suit me a great deal..

PS.. dont be put off brick, especially if you like old style detective films.. Just requires a bit of concentration thats all..

What can I say about the date and movie, but that it didn't quite go the way I wanted. We didn't see it in the good side of the movie theater, it was sold out. As for the movie I would say very good. Of course not quite true to life but visually was very good. The overall story is what you would read about on the net.

I got the DVD Take the Lead just to watch the extra's. They were interesting.

The kids and I went to see Ghost Rider today. It was better than what any of us expected.

Yes!

With *roar* Antonio actually looking good!

The Mad Hot Ballroom documentary was also about this. It's a pretty amazing story but I adore good dance movies regardless.

I like when he brings in the blonde to help him show off ballroom dancing. Though she is a cold hearted bitch.

That was H-O-T!

Did you see the movie all the way to the end? Because she had a change of heart there in the end, yanno?

I just might wait a bit before seeing the movie. Let the crowds die down.
