They suck. Everyone thinks they suck. Intellectually you know they suck, but you can't help but enjoy them. What are some films you are ashamed to admit you like?

Some of mine:
Clue: Watching it right now. Colleen Camp as the french made is delicious.
Flash Gordon
The Money Pit
Wild Things

Ace Ventura: Pet Detective

Actually, I like all the Jim Carrey movies... especially the ones that everyone seems to hate!

Charlotte's Web.
The Little Mermaid.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Every Power Rangers movie (and TV show segment) ever made.
PowerPuff Girls.
Small Soldiers.
Every single "Wee Sing" video ever made.
That Spice Girls movie.
Bring It On (over and over - the big girl is a cheer leader).

Ohhhh... you mean movies i don't *have* to watch cuz my kids watch them?

Well.
Hmm.
I can, and have, watched "Fried Green Tomatoes" over and over.
A little-seen sci-fi movie called "The Quiet Earth".
Almost anything with Nicolas Cage in it.
Any one, in any order, of the "Star Wars" movies.
There's more... give me a minute...

He said "guilty" pleasures not "insane" pleasures!

I LOVE

watching every single bad horror movie ever made. I'm currently watching "Friday the 13th pt. 3." Good scary films, as well. "Star Wars" films. Need to get them on DVD!!!! Jim Carrey movies. Even the dramatic films. I also laughed my ass off at "Scary Movie," even if it was all low brow humor. I LOVE the stupid gags. Never grew up.

Just watched Baseketball (is that how that's spelled?) last week... definitely a guilty pleasure!

Pleasure???

Well you're certainly guilty of something!

Orgazmo--If you've never heard of it, it's because 1) it was made for about a buck and a half; 2) it was made before Tre Parker and Matt Stone got really famous for South Park; 3) it's about a Mormon missionary who becomes a porn star. It stars Parker, Stone, Ron Jeremy, and a smattering of current (and less obese) porn stars.
It's tacky, tasteless, insulting, and screamingly funny.

Showgirls--I admit it. I LOVE this movie. Even Elizabeth Berkeley can't ruin it; it never fails to make me grin. Okay, I know it's supposed to be a drama. But it's the all-time guilty pleasure. It's got a ton of nudity, Gina Gershon as a bisexual-dominant-head showgirl, Kyle MacLachlan as a glorified pimp, completely gratuitous and non-sensical violence, half-assed attempts at meting out poetic justice, and some of the dumbest dialogue ever written: "Bitch, I'm telling you the Trute." No, I didn't misspell it. That's what he says. I think it's an attempt to say "truth" and sound "street". Plus, it appears to take itself completely seriously. (Only Gershon has the good sense to look vaguely embarassed.) What's not to love?

I've heard of Orgazmo... it was recommended by a friend. Unfortunately, it was out at the video store... dammit!

I was also told about a little something called Cannibal - The Musical... or something along those lines. Another gem from Parker & Stone!

Not as funny as Orgazmo, IMHO. But still worth a look, especially if you're a fan of SP. Their song-writing style, from "South Park" (especially the movie) is completely evident in Cannibal

Um, let's see...

The Fish That Saved Pittsburgh (starring Dr. J)

10 Things I Hate About You

Dogma (I'm going to burn for that one, I just know it)

Against All Odds (yeah, it's sappy, but we get a sweaty, naked Rachel Ward)

Streets of Fire (Willem DaFoe as an unstable antagonist before he perfected the art)

At Close Range (Christopher Walken as an unstable antagonist after he perfected the art)

Caught me red-handed

OK, throw away the key, but I LOVED THIS MOVIE!!!!!! Not just because it had JUlia Stiles in it, either. Although, that's a plus.

I know. I winced writing it, but I just couldn't help myself...

One of the funniest lines

I LOVED Larry Miller as the freakish Dad. The most outrageous line is when he says, "My insurance doesn't cover PMS" I almost lost a rib laughing. How about that scene with Julia Stiles dancing on the table? Mmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!

I saw the Quiet Earth a long, long time ago. A man wakes up one day and everyone is gone. I never understood the ending.

One of my guilty pleasures is Karate Kid. Still can't get enough of that movie :)

"Man who catch fly with chopstick.....accomplish anything".

Maximum Overdrive..Stephen King movie about killer trucks...its oundtrack is my musical guilty pleasure..AC/DC

I used to love TNT Monstervision...guess its host made too many pointed comments about Ted Turner.
