Movie Scenes

What movie scenes do you watch over and over again as if you set iTunes on repeat.

Currently I'm watching the opening scene of the Watchmen, with the Comedian flipping through channels, shaking his head at the world and for the first time ever, I just noticed he has a big fucking dildo to the left of his TV screen.

I'm not talking just any store bought dildo, this is like a fucking trophy you get at an awards show. 7 years of watching this movie and this scene, this is the first time I notice it?

So ... anyone else have favorite movie scenes?

I had a friend, fat mother fucker, did a lot of coke, still fat ... used to (or still does, I don't know) would take bands over to Iraq for the soldier benefit shit ... I don't remember ... he was Navy, a mechanic of some sorts ... he met R. Lee Ermey (had to wiki his name) ... but he met him, and asked him to give him the drill sergeant tear down ... and Ermey did it! like a minute's worth of the worst things you can say to fat guy .... he had it on his phone, it was amazing!

My friend was also a star wars nerd, with another guy who does the tech at Angel's stadium ... which means, if they read this, they know who I am.

I came in a surprisingly close 3rd in the star wars trivia we played for drinks. One of the worst hangovers I've ever had.

I'm going to bump this till it catches on ....

Boogie Nights:

The drug deal scene ...

Not saying I've been there, but as realistic a scene I've ever seen ... fucking amazing ... you could just sit there and watch it and roleplay in your head how that could go.

The guy who played Todd, where the fuck was his award?

Movie scenes fuckers ... which do you love?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q7eiVPhsGJk ... Jessica Lange getting nailed by Jack Nicholson ...

I was young when I saw this, but because of it, Jessica Lange became the ideal sex symbol for me .... even in her later age ... not saying I want to do that to her, but oh god ... what a woman.

Quint's speech in Jaws.

The nightclub scene in Godfather 2 when Michael realises it's his brother Fredo who's betrayed him.

Same film New Year Eve when he tells him he knows at midnight.

That's a good one ... this one .

God I've not seen that for years. I love Lange. Did you see her in the one where she played Frances Farmer?

Essentially the last scene in Sneakers where James Earl Jones is there and everyone is telling him what they want in exchange for handing over the decryption device.

"I want peace on Earth and goodwill towards men."

"We are the United States government! We don't do that sort of thing."

No .. but now I will look it up ... I first saw the scene on TBS and my parents were about to change the channel and then they got pissed ... my dad raved about how tv was cutting out shit and how it changed the entire scene, mislead the viewers, so I kept that in my head and when I finally could watch it, I had to see it and then I understood what he was saying.

Sounds like a River Phoenix line ... who said the line? ... Individuals idealize, organizations have to deal with reality.
