I just thought it may be a good idea to have a thread where people could review the last movie they saw.

Without giving any spoilers if possible. At least post a spoiler warning if needed.

It may be a guide to others... or may provoke discussion. Who knows?

I think it gives nothing away by saying this is about a monster attacking Manhattan.

It's been really well hyped. Maybe too well, that despite a secrecy campaign, bits still got out, but I suspect that is what JJ Abrahams (Lost, Alias) wanted. He's a master of that sort of thing.

The start is fairly tedious and boring, with very irritating people at a party that is going downhill fast. It's needed though, and I think intended.

Once the action starts though, it does not let up. You are literally there. The whole movie is taken from a camera found in 'what used to be Central Park'... so even though the whole world probably knows what is going on... you, like they don't. It's very good if you can get over the jerky amateur filming (think Blair Witch only worse). I think it's an allegory of 9/11... one shot is a complete copy of the dust cloud shots shown in documentaries.

Afterwards I went on youTube to clarify stuff... there are many mysteries (it's JJ Abrahams after all!), and one shot I missed at the movies is important at the very end of the movie.

Also stay till the end of the credits.

My wife loved it... she'd give it 9/10.

Much better than the first one IMO. With a strong cast of my favourites. If you like interracial (black males/white females), fine. But more importantly, if you like a down and dirty scene where it's obvious that BOTH parties are totally 100% into it, this has the ULTIMATE scene of all time.

This scene a very good opener as these things go. Delilah has a lovely smile to go along with her lovely ass and she has no shortage of energy. Mix all of that with chemistry between her and Justin, you have the makings for a hot scene that I rate 4 out of 5

Cory Baby/Justin Slayer
Nice ass, crap oral skills, and an attitude. Most Euro porn girls seem to have this, and it's a turn off for me. They are usually prettier and have better bodies than their US counterparts, but they have no spark or friendliness that the US people have. It's all too detatched. Which is why I prefer US porn. It's fast, frenetic and hard. If you like that sort of thing.. wonderful. If not... well.. for me 3 out of 5.

Mendy Black, Puma Black & Karina with Justin Slayer, Boz & Big Nat
You'd think an orgy scene would have more fire. this one didn't. It was a jumbled mess of bodies on the bed and it was hard to focus on any pairing consistently and I think the camera guy had the same problem as the camera view kept shifting every few seconds. The Eurobabes were pretty and their performances were decent as it goes, but 2 out of 5 for me.

Melanie Jagger/Justin Slayer
Melanie's a favourite of mine, but this isn't her best by a long shot. There was hardly any kissing or chemistry. It's like they'd had an argument beforehand. That said.. it's Melanie Jagger, so 3 out of 5.

Jane Darling/Justin Slayer
THIS is the scene by which all should be measured.
Jane looks as good as ever. (Wonderful body!). The 2 of them connect right away with lots of kissing and they jump right into the deepdicking in missionary where Jane is reaching certain erogenous zones. Imagine this position --- Jane in mish holding her legs behind her head and Justin in push-up position and balls deep in her pussy. Wow!

I don't understand why this footage was edited out from the scene in the feature for it was quality stuff. I mean you can clearly see the 2 of them really connecting during the sex action. He falls for the lovely Yvaine and risks his life to save hers.


Robert De Niro-is funny and so charming playing a very surprising role (I won't give the surprise away)
Michelle Pfeiffer-plays a sister of 3 evil witches-where she is queen. She searches for the "Star" so she can cut her heart to share with her two sisters and gain hundreds of years of youth and power.

I liked this movie very much. I would highly recommend it for family's with young children-but also for a great date movie of action, swashbuckling adventure for the teens and adults.

If I was to rate this movie-I'd give it at least a 8/10-wonderful fantasy/adventure with romance in the mix.
