so, i'm only allowed to post a thread on the AH if it is related to the craft of writing, or i have written a story and my thread is not racist and hate filled? this is why i have never really posted over here. maybe i'll go write a story and come back. i'll be sure to follow the unwritten rules.

Sadly, once you HAVE written a story, you are allowed to post bigoted and hate filled comments here. Even start threads which you know damn well will be filled with bigotry. So, sure, write anything-- as long as it's over 750 words and includes some mention of genitalia, you will have an open ticket to air any crapola you desire, vis Boxlicker, Amicus, and Zeb.

On the other hand, it would be preferable to many of the people who come to this particular forum, which is one of the very few that allow open sexual discussions combined with writerly concerns on the entire internet-- if you talked about sex, connectedness, and writing. Some of us really appreciate that, and will respond to it.

all i'm trying to say is take responsibility for your own trash. goodness. i know that hanging out on the GB is similar to choosing to live next to a toxic waste dump. no issue there. if racist and hate inciting material is only allowed there, that's fine. just own it. we have enough racists and assholes to deal with. we don't need yours.

Laurel seems to think that any garbage is sacrosanct once it's been put into pixels, and she will not delete it. This forum has a purpose, and puke like him disrupts that purpose-- once in a rare while, even Laurel has to admit it.

I've suggested a politics and current events forum to move this stuff to, but no dice. Other site owner/moderators have a garbage dump forum to which the puke and poop gets moved. Unfortunately for GB, GB is the garbage dump at literotica.
Take it up with laurel by PM. Don't tell us to "take care of our own trash" because we have no means by which to do so.

And as Stella has posted to you, you're talking to the wrong folks. The site owners set the forum categories and, in this case, moved the threads to where they wanted them. The posters to the AH have no power over this. Take it up with the site owners.

Ah, but JBJ's balls are in an interesting vice on this point. He derides what others can write in contrast to what he says he can write here so often and so dismissively that he couldn't post a 750-word crapola story to Literotica. He would have to post a masterpiece or he'd get horselaughed (even more than he already is) at every turn at the evidence that there "is no there there." I'd be surprised that he'd take the risk. Like others of his ilk, I think he'll just pretend the situaton away.
