Doohan was a great rider.

I woulda liked to have seen Scott Russell get on a good ride.

What was the guys name who used to ride the Marlboro bike and got in that nasty crash????? God I used to know all the names.

Yes Wayne Rainey, wow that guy could ride his butt off. Used to love watching the guy. He was like poetry in motion (most of the time) and I am gonna go and find it on the tube RIGHT NOW.

Wayne Rayne(sp)....poor bastard broke his back and never walked again....I think he runs a race team now..?

The other good racer from a few years back was Kevin Shwantz(sp) now he could ride !!

Eddie and Wayne are longtime friends, they started out racing each other around a dirt field.

Wayne is now into racing carts - his has MC hand controls instead of foot controls.

Oh yes Schwantz & Rainey what bitter rival's . I have memories of Hockenhiem in 91 , with Schwantz outbraking Rainey from a 190 mph as they hurtled into the stadium section on the final lap , Man was that bike out of shape .

They remained fiercest rival's , until Rainey's bad crash . They both won 25 GP's but Rainey ended up with 3 world titles with Yamaha to Schwantz's 1 with suzuki .

I hope you do get the chance to watch a re-run , very good racin' indeed . All 3 race's the 125's , 250's and 500's were great , action all the way to the chequered flag

Yep Kenny junior is the defending 500 champ , but he's had a very poor year on his Suzuki , 9th in the championship .
