Nice. Looks like it could do the job but I don't like those dainty little grips. I prefer a big grip and I prefer an auto when it comes to handguns. I hear Beretta has a sweet little 10mm out.

what good is it if you can't hit your target with it?

I think I will stick with my 38 Super made by Colt
9 rounds of 158 grain Jacketed hollow point

Is Lit just having issues with picture uploads? I ran into that same problem earlier today.

And what's with the pansy effeminate spelling of "apologize"? I thought this was an American site, God damn it . . .

The grips are a problem..

I prefer the large frame Smiths with the large grips. The Model 29 fits perfectly, while the Ruger Super Blackhawk seems to pinch the hand "web" at the top of recoil. I really like the Desert Eagle .50 and like I said, I wanna see a shoot off.
Of course, my favorite handgun is the IMP .223. After the CIA got through with it, Bushmaster marketed it. 30 rd mag/left or right handed shooting, and a 13" length.

For me to shoot accurately with a hand gun I need a large grip otherwise I tend to choke up on the damn thing. I have to admit I have never fired a Smith at all but hear tell they are damned nice weapons. My weapon of choice was always a Beretta 92F but then I met and fell in love with the Desert Eagle.

The IMP had an evil reputation in Vietnam. Didn't Bushmaster crank out a silenced .22 version or was that a different weapon altogether?

I don't remember a Bushmaster .22-

I do remember the American 180 .22 with a drum on top with a rate of fire that was ungodly. I saw a demo where it ate a 55 gallon drum in no time. My Bushmaster would rip out some rounds, and it felt like I was shooting a .22, really smooth!

I have seen something similar to that before but it had two drums one on either side and parallel to the barrel.

Looked like a light or medium fire suppression weapon for the squad level.

Have any idea what it is?

Yeah it supposedly sounded like an old fashioned dentists drill. Really ripped them out. I'm trying to find out about a bushmaster .22. I seem to remember they were carried by CIA hit teams working in Cambodia and Laos. I could still be wrong so bear with me.

How about the Stoner 63?

It was a complete weapons system used in Vietnam by Seal Team 2, and some MACVSOG units for field trials. Most LRRPs and deep penetration teams carried AK-47s , and I think they used Colt .22 pistols for that behind the neck sleeping pill. They tried and used alot of new ideas.

Most favored weapons;

M-16
GAU-5A Commando M-16
M-14
M-21 Sniper System
Winchester 12 Gauge
Colt .45 auto
M-3 'greasegun' .45
M-79 40mm
AK-47
