Most Domly, Lickable (or should that be likable?) Chef?

It's an un-hijackable thread! Post away! Post whatever you want! Though I might consider making it a snark free zone.

I must confess, the Domliest of Chef persons out there (for me) is the Chairman from Iron Chef. I just really like the idea of making something all fancy pants and making it so pretty! and then submitting it for approval. It's not like I dream of doing the Chairman I might now though! Y'all know how out there most of my fantasies are. Ooooh... Tentacle Porn and the Chairman. Um, waitasecond. Where was I? Um right, I don't really dream of doing the Chairman, but the whole structure of the show zings what little bit of competitive BDSM vibe I have. And the Chairman has POWER. Power is hot. And sexy.

Okay, I'm weird.

Sue me.

Someone told me yesterday "weird is sexy" does that help at all Miss Snowy ?

Miss Snowy interesting thing I learned about 'tentacle sex' when studying Shunga ( almost all objects represented in Shunga no matter how irrelevant/decorative they appear to be initially tell part of a story or represent an specific idea ) is that it denotes incestuous relationships. Many arms ( tentacles ) of the same entity. Can't say I was terribly thrilled of the knowledge, there are some B & W images that include Octopus that I am well fond of. Alt sent me this one for my collection, yes I know I am going off on a tangent here .....

Strangely alluring .....

Awesome! I'm not the only Chairman freak out there!

Haha oh no! Me and all my friends are absolutely in love with him. He's the main reason to watch Iron Chef! Have you seen the Bell Pepper episode? When he reveals the secret ingredient he picks up a big pepper and takes a bite out of it. Delicious!

LMAO!! And such Domly outfits he wears! :D

And yes, the Japanese version is much better than the American version. The voice-overs were awesome and the secret ingredients in the American version are awfully so pedestrian (to Americans at least).

Ohh YAY you're here Miss Callinectes, help me out some.

Cat is picking on me, she is saying mean things about Marco .

I remember that one! I might have it on DVD, and I might watch it a lot. I'm not confirming or denying my major IC Chairman perve...

He needs Gordon to teach him some manners!!:p Or perhaps Simon Rimmer could come and dazzle him with his beautiful shaved head and all his healthy vegetables.:)

Catalina:catroar:

: sighs : Look I'm still semi infatuated with Gordon, m'kay.

If Gordon & Marco phone , I promise you I'd even consider a poly relationship.

Happy now ?

Once a week I go to the Iron Chef website on the Food Network and I suggest Peanut Butter for the secret ingredient and every week I watch and they never ever do it! Maybe that should be my next thread... A plea to help me get peanut butter on the Iron Chef menu.

Perhaps they should go on Iron Chef and the Chairman and Morimoto-San could teach them some manners...

Hey, great idea! :) I'm in!

I better add some more to my list here...

top of the list, might even outdo Gordon in some ways is .... Michael Caines (there are no words), then we have:

Angela Hartnett (she takes my breath away:))
Jun Tanaka (great food and intriguing)

Then cute and enticing on a vanilla scale are:

Gino D'Acampo (fun, fun, and passion)
James Martin (bedroom eyes)
Delia Smith (cool and delicately ladylike)

Can we add Rick Stein please, not sure I'd want to lick him but I do respect him. Just saw a documentary about him traveling to Japan to study traditional cuisine in order to cook a Dinner Party for the Japanese Ambassador in London, plus he is very cool to his dog Chalky. I admire him.

Edit to add : Ohh 'Delia' another of Gordon's turkey's names !

To avoid further hijacking of the thread that was started to avoid hijacking the unhijackable thread, here's link to the shiny new IC thread! There's a link to the questions and comments form in the first post.

Definately, he is cool...also like (not wanting to lick) Marcus Wareing, Paul Rankin (old hippie who still meditates, does yoga and is off to India on some more spiritual venturing), Gary Rhodes and Ainsley Harriott just cause he is fun in so many ways.

Catalina:catroar:

Gary Rhodes is the spitting image of one of my very very best no want nooky male friends in my late teens early twenties, I have a soft spot for him for that alone.

Ainsley is a hoot, so exuberant, saw him cooking lobster in tequila & banana leaves in Acapulco recently, he was wearing a Reyn Spooner shirt and looming larger than life, my son adores Ainsley.

Ohh wonder if Paul cooks with asafoetida, the only Indian spice I ever bought and couldn't bring myself to use. Barf City.

Dunno...saw him recently talking about his upcoming trip to India. Apparently he has spent a lot of time living and learning there in his hippie days and the spiritual side has remained with him.

Catalina:catroar:

sounds like my sorta gal.

Everyone woman should join the no-drawers revolution.

I like panties! Please don't mention anything related to ... you know what ... I wear cotton. And with respect to ... fluids ... they have to go somewhere. I mean, if you're not wearing panties...just what is going on down there, SG?

(Don't mind me, I'm enjoying being a prim schoolmarm today. I was actually looking for a more school marm-like AV, but couldn't find one.)

Well only sometimes...she was in an interview on Graham Norton with Marilyn Manson and GN asked her about it and she admitted it was so, she often goes without panties. MM was on his knees instantly wanting to check.:D

Catalina:catroar:

I love Graham Norton. He's like a national treasure. Er, not mine, of course.

Catalina:catroar:

About the only spice I call a hard limit on, refuse to use it. There is this Vegan guy here Kurma Dasi extremely talented, authentic yet extremely health orientated Indian Chef. About 10 years ago I decided I had to buy asafoetida and use it because he goes on and on and on about it. I swear tiny jar, size of original glass packaging of Tiger Balm, I was nearly sick when I smelled it. Couldn't induce myself to use it in something we would eat. I threw it out.

Maybe I should try it again : sighs :

Not Domly in the least, but butters MY toast organically, Naked Chef Jamie Oliver.
