Most Americans want more time

The myth of Bush's invincible popularity has been dealt another body blow, this time by a new NYT/CBS poll. Despite the constant propagandizing by TV news, and the presentation of the pro-war view almost exclusively, 59% of Americans say Bush should give the UN more time. Bush's job approval rating has fallen to 54%, from 64% just a month ago. On his handling of the economy, Bush does even worse: 53% disapprove.
