Eac Morning I awake with a migrain it hurts like hell.
anyone know how I can stop from wakeing with them?
or a sure fire way to get rid of them a few mins after I wake up?

thanks

I found that taking an Advil Cold and Sinus before bed, really helps. Don't know if it's my sinuses that cause the headaches, but I know where you're coming from.

BTW..has anyone ever told you that you look like Chris Noth, a younger version? He was the guy from Law and Order...the young cop.

I wake up every morning with them too.

I take 2 sudefed when I get up and in a few mins the headache is relieved. I have no idea why I get them every freaking morning, but sudefed works.

Not all severe headaches are "migraines." You probably are waking up with some other form of headache -- sinus headache, muscle tension/stress, dehydration or caffeine withdrawal headache, etc.

Muscle tension/stress headache: Change your pillow and/or bed.

Sinus/allergy Headache: Find and remove the allergen -- possibly dust mites/shed skin cells; a thorough vacuuming of your matress might help. Take a decongestant or antihistaimine before bed or immediately after rising.

Dehydration Headache: Drink a large glass of water before bed and have something ready to rehydrate youwhen youwake up -- Water, Gatorade (tm), orange juice, etc.

Caffeine withdrawal headache: Treat the symptoms like you would for dehydration. Reduce the amount of caffiene intake through the day to provide a permanent solution.

IF THE PROBLEM PERSISTS, SEE A DOCTOR!

Persistent or recurring headaches are often a symptom of a more serious condition.

Don't spend so much time upside down. It probably relates to the blood rushing to your head. :D

Have you tried tea? Chamomile works like a charm for me.

Hope you feel better.

thanks for the help
and Thanks for the diff inputs weird Harold.
i've thought it was dehydration to cause my eyes hurt like hell
but I drink wayyyy more then the average person, I"m always with a drink in hand.
They usualy last till after 9:30 so for around 3 hours
and i've seen the doc many times about this and that. head aches have been mentioned
I'll try the pills (even though I hate takeing any kind of drug)

You may be clenching or grinding your teeth while you sleep without even knowing it. Stop by your dentists office and have him check you out. A nightgaurd worn overnight may give you relief from your headaches.
