Hello

I look forward to it reaching the UK, and hope it is a bit more "freewheeling" than the latest Trek offerings. I want them to finish episodes without having to be so dammned wholesome and "group huggy". I'd also like them to get through the series without technobabble, which infuriates me, and without whipping up awesome gadgets in ten seconds out of a rusty hatpin and the main deflector array. Any of that, and I'm out of it for good

I can always watch Stargate reruns, I suppose - at least they don't take themselves so seriously

Weird thing is people loved Macgyver because of the way he pulled impossible gadgets together but hated Star Trek for doing the same thing.
