Latest from CNN: Kabul Afganistan is now being bombed by jets of unknown origin.

I don't think anyone has any doubts about whose jets those are bombing Afghanistan.


But Orrin Hatch and another Senator are telling CNN that it's part of the internal civil war in Afghanistan.

Yeah but I don't think its a US attack. We would not react that quick or at least I hope we would not. The news also says there sources say it is not a US attack.

Yeah....they say its coming from the area of the Northern Alliance. It could also be someone trying to get people to be suspicious of the US.

I don't know

But don't think that President Bush would call this morning's terrorist cowards for not identifying themselves and then turn around do the same thing. Also nothing has been confirmed as to who did it. Would be an awfully big blunder if we found out tomorrow it was a bunch of skin heads ala Oklahoma City. Then again, mabye the President has access to sourses of intellegigence not privy to the public to justify (in his mind), such an attack. All speculation.

There are now denials from the CIA and Dept of Defense that the bombing in Afghanistan is being carried out by US forces.

Northern Alliance just took credit for the bombings and said there will be more.
