I recently began dating a girl who has expressed interest in bondage, et.al. She has intimated her wants and needs to me, but I have yet to find a way to broach this activity with her. Reason being... she is good friends with more than one person that I know to be in what I would consider a fulltime lifestyle dom/sub relationship. I have never been in anything like that, and would describe most of my experience as very casual playing around with one individual over about 5 years. Now, when i say casual... we had everything from restraints, floggers, toys, etc. And depending on our moods we would take turns between who was submissive and master for the night. I had a very very good and open relationship with that woman. I barely know this one. Any ideas on how to broach this subject with the new girl? Like I said, I have more or less dabbled over the last few years, this girl has described the parties that her friends throw in the dungeon in their garage.

How about sitting down with her, looking into her eyes and talking about it with her? She has expressed an interest. You have an interest. Sounds like a good start but, one person's bondage may not be another's. So you might inquire as to her particular interests and explain yours, compare limits both soft and hard with each other and when you are done who knows what you will both feel like doing?
My husband and I did this last night. I printed out a list of BDSM things and we marked those we were interested in, had done and were not interested in and to what degree then discussed it.
It took forever, a couple of hours at least but it was fun. We both learned things about each other and ourselves we hadn't known and then he wanted to get busy for real. *winks*
It was the first time he has ever really done any sort of bondage with me. It was H-O-T and rough, well worth the time and effort in getting to know each other better.

Well, thank you for the motivation. It worked out better than I could have ever expected. I talked to her and was surprised to find that we had more in common than we thought, which was a lot to begin with. She introduced me to her friends who have invited me over to talk soon. We didn't get down to it tonight, but I think that the next time she comes over it will be a bit more fun. I am looking forward to reading more on the forums here. As for my reading of stories, I think I need to read some different things for ideas... but it will be a fun education. Hopefully I can contribute to the discussion later on down the road. Thank you Fury for the help. I think I knew thats what i had to do, but it definitely helped to hear it from someone else.
