We are trying for a baby and i think my spunk volume i produce is low. Is there a way to consistently increase the volume i produce:confused:

1.) wait. The longer time between ejaculations gives your body time to re-load, so to speak.
2.) Drink a lot of water. Hydration helps you to produce more.
3.) Lots of foreplay. Edge for a while before you actually cum.
4.) They say there are supplements that can help (zinc, lecithin, L-argenine, etc) that might be worth checking out.

I'm not sure if volume is all you need. Even a little semen can hold a lot of sperm. I'm not sure how much more sperm is held in a bigger load. (someone might help me out on that one.)

The volume of your semen doesn't matter like the quantity and motility of your sperm. Have you had your sperm analyzed?

When we were try to conceive, I made sure my husband's nutrition was up to par. He's kind of a picky eater, so that included taking some supplements, like zinc (which is very important for fertility and semen production), fish oil and a good multivitamin.

Hydration is also very important for semen and overall health, of course. Make sure you're drinking plenty of water and limit your intake of caffeine, alcohol and sugar.

So, I'd suggest talking to your doctor, having a sperm count if you're concerned and making sure you're in optimal health (which might include taking some supplements if your doc gives you the all clear on them).

I tried to do a sperm count but kept losing track of the ones I had already counted. Gave up

Everything here is right on. So, the question is, how long have you been trying? Don't even worry about it for two years. If, at two years, nothing, then see a doctor (take the zinc, and I also took vit. E). Turns out, in our case, the problem was with my wife, not me. We got her fixed up very quickly, and had two kids 13 months apart. At the two year mark, it is easier (and cheaper) to check you out first, then her. And, with modern medicine, they can fix a ton of problems now there were not available even just a few years ago.

How long it'll likely take to get pregnant is highly dependent on age, but people under 30 should probably get checked out after a year of trying unsuccessfully. Two years is a long time fertility-wise, and like you said, there may be a relatively easy solution to any problem.

It took us about 3 years for a successful pregnancy, and while I had tests along the way and we did a lot of stuff at home/on our own, we didn't end up using any fertility drugs or anything.
