Remember he kept boasting about the power of Britain, the owners of Burger King? Well the sale has been completed. I would like to share this expert from the article.
“Burger King was founded in 1954 by restaurant veterans James McLamore and David Edgerton in Miami. Three years later it added the Whopper, and then expanded rapidly by franchising. It was gobbled up by U.S. food group Pillsbury in 1967, which in turn was acquired by GrandMet in 1988, which became Diageo by 1997.”
Guess when they became unprofitable...
