Nads, Shaving, Nair, Magic, there are tons of ways to remove hair.

Does anyone know of anything short of laser removal to stop hair from growing......or at least slow down it's growth?

I think Nair advertises that one of it's products "slows regrowth," but I think that's probably just advertising.

Laser Removal or Electrolysis are the only "proven" methods of permanent hair removal I've seen anything about. I'm sure that a web search for "permanent hair removal" would turn up a lot of crackpot theories, dubious products (Like Igia's home electroysis machine) and outright scams.

I'm sure that if you find something that's cheap, effective, safe, and readily available, you'll be a hero her at Lit. ;)

Ok, the hairdresser is in. Unfortunately, short of malnutrition nothing will slow the hair growing process. There are professional creams, but I think they're gimicky. This doesn't mean that you don't have to eat your vegetables!!

There was a cream you could get through a dermatologist a year or so ago that slowed hair growth in women. I dont know how well it worked or if it is still out there...but I remember hearing about it. Maybe ask your doc....
