More crappy shit from Lop.com

Hi to all. A small warning about a nasty piece of invasive software from the pratts at Lop.com. The other night I was hunting down a crack file for a certain programme. A pop-up window (full screen - 1280 x 1024) on my 17" monitor with Portal on the Header bar takes over. It has a End User License Agreement on it and NO other way of closing it down (Alt-Tab, Alt-F4, Ctrl-Shift-Esc) all disabled. The OK button was the only choice...Then, in a flash, it had tried to insert Desktop.swf as my desktop wallpaper, 5 new icons on my desktop, a new bunch of folders and links in Favourites and 5 different registry keys and a new homepage as well. Also there is a sneaky "dll" in the "application data" folder (Windows 2000 Pro) that I have to remove in safe mode. (I haven't done that yet.) This DLL brings up their home page everytime you cannot get to a website or a search bottoms out. The site that brought this up was Crackz.am, which was accessed thru the Astalavista Crack Database sites...

Just a warning about this crap ..I think its almost as bad as a virus. Thanks to the the programmers at Lop Portal for this incredibly annoying PIECE OF SLIMESUCKING SHIT BRAINED FUCKING SOFTWARE. Fucking ass-wipes....

You're cracking software and complaining about someone writing garbage that fucks up your PC?

Sounds like you're hanging in some bad neighborhoods.

Okay...I sort of see your point but....there is NO need for companies to write and use invasive software like this....I'm a PC technician, I know how to get rid of all the shit this one incident has put on my machine. But to a lot of people that dont know how to remove it, they are stuck. My intentions for posting here was that a lot of us LITizens are avid porn surfers, these Crackz/Serialz sites usually align themselves with Porn sites to generate "clickthrough" revenue. I was posting this as a warning to anyone that comes across it, not as a justification to my own actions. I'm not the only one who does this. I figure that by warning and preventing ONE other user from clicking on it, I've saved someone a major headache.
