I know i'm not telling you all anything new when I say the majority of Americans do not look at big women as objects of desire.I'm mainly talking about the media here.First it was Oprah(who in my opinion now looks better than ever),than Rosaeanne(who i think IS kind of sexy).Remember when Delta Burke gained weight and suddenly she was the butt of many jokes on late night tv.Than Monica Lewinsky came along and i find out just how cruel some people can be.I for one happened to think Monica was very sexy.But just because she doesn't resemble one of those skinny blonde "actresses",she's made fun of.
Now it seems the latest target is Kirstie Alley.Again,a woman who i think is very attractive.I'm sick of it but I know it's not likely to end anytime soon.

What is it with not only the media, but the population in general her in the U.S.? Have they not figured out that there are 67,873,851 women in the US that think they are 10's, and only 25 that are? I've found over my 57 years the the BBW {Big Beautiful Woman} is a lot more desirable to me then the skinny waifs that are touted by the media. I've always had an affection for BBWs and it was really brought home when I joined a nudist club. I found that those ladies who were more in line with the medias idea of the "perfect" figure were more concerned with making sure that everyone was aware of them. They always complained that they had gained and "extra" pound or two on their skinny frame. They strutted, and showed off and generaly were there for the show. Where in the BBW, and there are a lot more of them at nudist clubs then you might think, were much more down to earth. Thake it or leave it was there attitude, I tended to take it. They would talk and socialize with you and were generaly happy with life. Some times they even partied with you. I must add too that there isn't any more "free" or casual sex at a nudist club then any other club of place people get together. It's just that we like to be nude so it dosen't take as long to get down to the basics, IF we want to.

one thing I loved as far as media on this topic. For the show Firefly, the lovely actress Jewel Staite (Kaylee) was hired on the condition that she gain some weight, because Joss Whedon (creator of the show) wanted someone for the part who looked like a real woman, not the typical hollywood image where if you aren't so thin that you look like a stick figure you can't get an acting part. The cast has some lovely women on it, but I think Jewel it the most attractive.
