I'm about to download this and try it out - its free - and its gotten great reviews. Sounds very cool!

MoodAmp is a unique music organizer that allows you to play your MP3 files based on your current mood. It can automatically scan your drive and catalog all your music files. You can then choose from various different mood settings (neutral, appy, romantic, sad etc.) and MoodAmp will play the files that atch the mood. In addition, you can also add a personal rating to ach title. MoodAmp can automatically remove duplicate files even f the filename and ID3 tags differ, using MoodAmp MP3 Fingerprint chnology. The program uses either Windows Media Player or inAmp as an external player.

Hey that does look cool. Let me know how it works, I don't think all my stuff is tagged correctly.

I'm using this right now and its great! I love it

It lets you use your own player to actualy play the songs - its just a cataloger and a controller - which is cool.

As you listen to songs you rate them... you first say what you're doing or what your mood is (neutral, working, sad, happy, etc.) then you rate it either Bad, Normal, Good, Awesome!. It remembers the combination - your mood/activity and how you thought about the song at the time (each song can have more than one rating - you could for example rate a song Bad when you're Sad and Awesome when you're Happy).

Then you have playlists based on your mood and activity!
