Mood Writing (what you do to get into or during)

Sometimes I find you gotta get yourself right into the mood to write some things. Anyone else ever have to get into the mood or does it just come to you like breathing under water does for a fish?

For me, I find Two Steps from hell to be highly effective mood music to write almost anything.

Anyone know how to get their older stuff?
