If you have a DVd player, try to get hold of the Criterion Edition of Brazil. Great behind the scenes stuff and lots of interviews...

i love the Holy Grail and i really like The Meaning of Life.
i enjoy the one liners and then seeing all the background jokes as things happen. i usually spot something i missed before.

British comedy is great.
