Monster Box (geek thread)

I was inspired by Wings and her knives and coffee (thank you, and I use a press) to share my hobby.

I used to build boxes all the time but it has been a while. I decided to see how much rust I had accumulated. So I set out to build a Frankenstein Monster Box. Had the case and fans (Cooler Master) but stripped everything out, cleaned it up and went component by component including power supply. Fried some MoBos along the way (oy vey). Cussed a bit (Okay - a lot!). Took a while, but loving the result so far.

40 channels, DDR4 - 16 so far, 128 max, 6 cores, water cooled (44 C under stress ) EVGA 1300 power, 500GB of SSD ... all good.

Just got it burned in and am about to start hammering it to see what I really have built here. Thinking it is time to be a bridge for Tor with some VMs. Hosting a few sites, also with VMs. Will have a few VMs for Ubuntu and BSD. Finished Witcher on the PS4 so will hunt for a game too.

Other folks out there building? Got a Box to show off?

Scrutinized the pictures and then Beat myself off to the 'Geekporn'. All in the hope
