These will likely be the last pictures in this thread. My digital camera has bitten the dust after being dropped 2 feet onto a carpeted floor. It's the second one I've lost that way in as many years and I don't think I'll be replacing it very soon.

It really chaps my ass frankly. A $300 item ought to be able to withstand a fall from that height onto a cushioned surface. Once the lens assembly on the Canon A70 takes a hit- your camera is toast.

I'm going to back to film dammit. I've had 3 digital cameras in the last 4 years but my 35mm SLR is the same one I had 15 years ago. Of course that will put a cramp in the ol' Am Pics.
