I don't know a huge deal on the topic but I do know it's a legitimate form of exchange and or humiliation for some . There probably are other contributing factors and quite a diversity of relationships that in some way incorporate the handing over of money. That's not to say there may be no real abuse in the contrition to only seek others that will participate, it could however happen under far less kink concerning terms and far less consensually. The bright side as far as I am concerned would be is that they are up front in advertising the fact.

I totally get the idea behind it. Money = power, so giving up that money is like giving up power. I could especially see this in vp types.
