I just hit my 20-year point last Friday! I plan to serve another 6-8 years though and then retire.

I joined the Air Force in 1991 with the intention of finishing my college degrees (Bachelors and Masters) and loved it so much I decided to stay. It's a great lifestyle and been lots of fun.

Like any job, it does have its sucky moments too, but I don't know of any other company out there that lets you off 3-5 hours per week to just workout and play sports! It's always exciting and I highly recommend it to anyone who's interested!!

My dad was in for 27 years. When I was 18, it was the last thing I wanted to do, but now I kinda wish I had. Growing up as an AF kid, I got used to moving, and now I'm always restless and wanting to pack up and go somewhere else.
