I know this is the wrong place to be placing this but I've tried and tried to find a site to help and no luck. The bank will do it but I will not get the money back, and I want to keep it.

I have money from many different countries with no clue what there worth or even if there still worth anything. To be honest most of it I have no clue even where its from, some was given to me in change or by other people that I knew who also go it as change. I use to work in an engineering testing company and some of the engineers gave me what ever they had from there trips?

I have a bill from Ireland E1 from 1980's

IE-70 1 Pound 22.3.1984 (Queen Medb; old writing) [Picture & Info]

I also have other change from China,England, and other asian many other like I said no clue? Just need help with a website of if someone is from another country I can describe what it looks like digital camera not working.

In some cases old money notes are not worth anything if they have technically gone out of circulation.

The note that you are talking about is no longer in circulation as the Republic of Ireland now uses the Euro. The '£' sign actually stood for Punt (rhymes with bank manager).

I'm not sure if it is worth anything today, other than what a collector would give you.

Thanks to all, kinda had an idea that when some countries retire there older money that money becomes worthless. Well then I guess I have a lot of worthless money from other countries. About the rarest coins I found or at least what I think mite be rare is a coin from Korea since it doesnt say if is north or south and a buffalo head nickle no date stamped on it?

Has anyone gone to www.wheresgeorge.com its been on here before but it's interesting how a bill can be in one state and within 2 or 3 days be half way across the United States. If you havent tired it go to the site.
