Could work I suppose Athena... this way the age could be ramped up... add an element of danger to the tale as well... The mother and son could well wind up in a hell hole prison for breaking the rules twofold with incestuous lust and performing illegal sex acts without government approval, but she can't help herself, she must have him

I was thinking an equal combination of love and lust.

The son is immensely tormented by the things that society have told him are forbidden. He doesn't understand why his body refuses to obey what he is taught to believe are right and wrong. Instead, he always wakes up with an erection and cannot resist the dirty nature of his thoughts.

His mother sees the tortured guilt he experiences, understands its nature, and desperately wants to free him from it. At first hers is merely an innocent goal, but as she gradually increases his rate of learning as a sexual being, she comes to realize that she has her own repressed desires.

All set against the glorious backdrop of an Orwellian civilization full of mechanical precision and heartless focus.

Only, he even stated pubescent son before he deleted his post... So, yes, Lit would not accept such a tale. And frankly, I think that's sick to lust for a JUST pubescent child.

I just don't see how anyone could give a legal adult sex ed, unless it was something like exploring kink. All basic sex ed happens well before the Freshman year in high school even.

The mother refused to give sexual education. When her son was about to get married and she finally had to explain its operation to him, she found herself turned on by the material she found available and was unable to keep her own repressed desires in check.

Or you could do the 1984 style story I was talking about. Sex is something forbidden by the state. Breeding was accomplished through in vitro rather than naturally, so only the prior generation had any recollection of its experience.

A mother and her son escape the confines of the government city and without the regular treatments, the young man becomes extremely horny and incapable of understanding how to deal with it. Mommy steps in.

I could see that story line work, but would still set it back in an earlier era I think.

Or, skip the family thing and the marriage thing. Repressed young adult is going to a "real school" for college after being home schooled all his/her life. He or she gets the "sex ed" that was missed by some friendly peers.

I took a Biology 101 class and always thought it would be funny if someone didn't understand the basics of reproduction when they arrived at college. Could lead to some very interesting questions in class.

Perhaps a professor (male or female) demands some extracurricular studying.
