There has been a lot of stories about son getting feminized and mom (most of the time) being the dominant one to enforce the process. However, I have yet to see a story where the mom was masculinized. Now I understand this topic might not be very popular but I still have an idea that if any Literotica authors could pick up, might be something amazing.
So the idea would be that the story starts out with a high school senior who isn't exactly comfortable in his own but was always too afraid to explore his identity. However, he knows that he isn't gay or bisexual, but has an urge to become a woman. So we could see him battling his insecurities as he navigates through high school. His mother would start out as this generic suburban soccer mom, who has a good relationship with her husband and her son. The mom would help the son come in terms with his identity, falling in love with the son slowly.
However, this would create tension between her and the husband as the husband would be against the idea of their son getting feminine and the resulting conflict would fuel her motherly instincts to be strong and protective of her son and his choices. This in turn, slowly leads to a weird desire for her to build power to protect her son. Which, as you can understand, leads her to weightlifting in the gym and start her journey towards masculinization.
I want the story to be a slow burn, with comedy sprinkled in with romance at it's core. Because most feminization and masculinization stories play into the dom sub role and I want this story to be a weird feel good rom-com that explores the femn/masc trope. It could be a multi part story that explores the mother and son's transition to the other side. Maybe they won't go the full way and stop their transition journey somewhere along the line. But that's okay as long as they are happy with the results.
So, any takers? I would love to write this but I'm not skilled enough to create a slow burn complex story like this and deliver a satisfying experience. But I would be happy to collaborate.
