How's this for an idea:

Son enters a draw and wins the first prize: romantic couples' retreat somewhere exotic. The only problem is that they must be a married couple. As they already share the same surname and as the mother is young looking, this could work.

Another element could be (for a slightly different story) that when they get there they realise it's a 'lovers retreat' and they have to attend the daily classes with a sex therapist or some such.
