Slightly sore penis skin due to being a little over enthusiastic with it.
Wondering about a little moisturiser or something to help it recover, but don't want to use anything inappropriate.
Any suggestions for types of moisturiser or similar?

I'd be careful with moisturiser if you use condoms. As long as said penis isn't going in anyone until it recovers, though, it should be fine.

anything natural without any perfume, like sweet almond oil would sound like a good idea to me, it is great on sensitive areas, but like Infinity mentioned , remember that oils and condoms don't mix.

I've recently discovered the amazingness that is hypoallergenic lanolin.

Hey, if it works so great on raw nipples and dry skin, it'll probably help your cock heal up in no time flat, too. :D

I agree, never thought about it for this purpose but I bet it would work wonders:rolleyes:

heads up though, it is quite sticky at first.

It's only amazing if you're not one of the people that's uncomfortable with the idea of covering yourself with sheep fat, though. :D

Uh, it's not sheep fat. It's a byproduct of washing wool, and very similar to the protectant our skin naturally produces.

lanolin is a greasy yellow substance secreted by the sebaceous glands of wool-bearing animals. Most lanolin used by humans comes from domestic sheep. Chemically akin to wax, it can be used as a skin ointment or water-proofing wax, and is sometimes used in products such as chap stick and shoe polish. Lanolin's waterproofing property aids sheep in shedding water from their coats. Certain breeds of sheep produce large amounts of lanolin, and the extraction can be performed by squeezing the sheep's harvested wool between rollers. Most or all of the lanolin is removed from wool when it is processed into textiles, such as yarn.Medical grade lanolin is used as a cream to soothe skin, as it is hypoallergenic and bacteriostatic. In this form it is used by some breastfeeding mothers on sore and cracked nipples. Medical grade lanolin can also be used to treat chapped lips, diaper rash, dry skin, itchy skin, calluses, minor incisions, minor burns and abrasions. Many varieties of shaving cream contain lanolin.

one common use for lanolin is to soften or break in a new baseball glove (some people use shaving cream for this but again shaving creams contain lanolin :p)

a non animal by-product that would nicely fit as a replacement for lanolin if you do not want to use "sheep fat" as infinity nicely put it, would be pure shea butter, it is entirely plant based and the texture is very similar to lanolin.

Hypoallergenic lanolin is a good suggestion. Any unscented lotion is fine - scented ones may cause irritation, but at the same time, may not either.

And, for the record, always take the condom off. I had a bit of irritation on the foreskin failing to do that one night - let her cuddle *after* you deal with the necessary cleanup, is the lesson to be learned.

Yes, it is similar to human skin oils. It's still sheep fat, though.

Sure, it's "sheep fat" just like the oil on your skin is "human fat."

It's OK to stop arguing and acknowledge that you've rethought, misstated, or were just plain wrong, sometimes, Infinity. Graciousness is hardly a bad thing.

I'm italian, so i go with olive oil.it works great !watch how you rub it in though it may make the gun go off again ! LOL

Coconut oil has amazing healing effects. I use it on everything from fresh tattoos, small cuts and patches of dry skin -- helps healing better than anything else I've tried -- and smells good.

Vitamin E oil..natural and very effective!! rub in after shower while pores are still opened up and rub on..let air dry before putting on clothes
