Xmas vacation? I hope I dont sound like a college kid.
My time at Lit had been diminishing as I didnt find the same enjoyment as I had in the past, and I had been reading only a smattering of threads. Essentially editing myself to the posters who provoked me. I had been talking off the board with more people as opposed to the veiled responses of some of my past posts. This, along with my own cttitudes and emotions, had rendered the board more complex than I liked...each statement having too much weight and meaning, regardless of my idiocy.
With all that has been going on around me in RL I have spent less time on the computer and my time has been spent on music searches or perusing graphical art. My conversational skills are currently lacking; despite the time distortion a BB is a conversation. Introspection sits oddly on a BB or most any glowing monitor based medium.
Before the "argument" thread..I had received some PMs and emails wondering what was on my mind due to the tone of my posts on the board. I didnt sense a change in tone but one was perceived, perhaps it was that there was more bite than humor coming through...by design. There is no doubt that my time at the board had become overwrought (for me), for a variety of reasons, some of which Lit friends will have a clue about, some of which are too involved to explain.
Having said all that......My perception of the BB was my own doing, a result of my own actions, whether their influence was known at the time or not. I will be back with whatever I bring with me, for better or worse, but not for right now.
This is all a bit overblown on my part as I try to compensate for my notion to say..."who gives a fuck."
Its such a dynamic place, this BB...as a newcomer I find it refreshing and frustrating. So many people who's thoughts I take a interest in mixed with those whom I cannot fathom. Politics beside stupid questions and I may laugh at both or I may ask just such a question.
Sometimes the static is so loud that one merges with it...and fades into the distance, by choice..
