Possible story series, set in modern day but with fantasy races such as gnomes, elves, trolls, goblins, ogres and humans. A large mix of modern society with magical fantasy.
The main idea in my head is a male ogre is the first to leave his farming village, and one of the few educated ogres, he goes to college to study herbology wanting to start a farming business growing herbs and stuff for the alchemist companies which operate somewhat like modern day beer companies with large breweries producing potions in mass. He gets a football scholarship playing center but soon draws the attention of a young female elf cheerleader who is taking magical studies, possibly a high elf from a high class family.
