Although an older woman, my wife is still attractive and has been asked to resume her modeling career. When she was in her 20s she modeled clothes for catalogs and ads. It's always been an open secret between us that screwed a lot of the photographers and the male models. If she takes this new job, I wonder if she will go back to her old ways?

Speaking as someone in a very similar position as your wife, even relatively tame photo shoots can be sexually charged. The more risque, the more tension there naturally is. Models and photographers or other models fucking is exceedingly common and old habits can be hard to break. One of my stories is based on a real life photo shoot incident from year ago but it was hardly the only one that happened.

Forgive my generalization, but certain professions (modelling, acting, performing) often come with egos that cannot be checked. I knew a woman who was in high school, college, and then community theater and fucked guys at every level. I think that was her "power".
