Anyone here into this miniature hobby? Or is it too kiddy for you all?

Here's my Panzersphawagen 232 ;)

I used to do fantasy & sci-fi minature wargaming... Space Marines, Chaos, Knights, Elves, Orcs etc.

Got too expensive though.

Nice tank :)

SB, I used to play Necromunda, which is an off-shoot of 40K, on a smaller scale....I've got quite a few friends down here in NZ who are into Warhammer 40K tho. Its a cool hobby.

It's not that expensive over here in South East Asia. This kit costs about 15 Euros only.

I used to love to put models together when I was younger...mainly airplanes....and I enjoyed the miniatures from dungeons and dragons....I used to sit and paint for hours...got pretty good at it too....i wish I could still find those lil buggers!:D

Shit man, I've had/played almost every game system GW have brought out

Warhammer - My bretonnians kicked ass
Warhammer Quest - My imperial Noble was a demi-god
40k - My blood angels were wasted at every oppurtunity by Eldar
Epic 40k - my Chaos MArines were average
Necromunda - my Van Saar and Escher ruled

I used to run Orlocks and Eschers......Eschers in suspenders, crop tops and those long leather boots...

i painted some warhammer figures for my cousin they were quite good actually i never played the games though

Cool SG, got any pics of them...? I'll rummage around in the attic later today...and see what I can find......

no pics i don't even have the figures now my cousin has them

painted some lizardmen ... empire (i did a cool steam tank) and a chaos dragon that was pretty cool but took forever ... some of the artwork and background in the books were pretty in depth i can see the appeal of those types of games

i was trying to find the two headed chaos dragon i painted but they've changed it

i like the new one they have though its pretty relaxing to paint those figures and im not very artistic so those were the only sort of art things i can do :)

I went one night to a club with a friend and watched guy's playing Magic the gathering, mage knight and warhammer, the thing that struck me the most was how humourless they all were and how much inverted snobbery there was, turned me right off roll playing games for ever.

I build 1/35th scale armor. Its a hobby that takes my mind off of everything else. Currently I'm builing Tamiya's new Pershing tank, plus a plank on plank Viking ship.

There used to be line called Phoenix Phollies that had fantasy women figures that I wanted to do a scene with. But I think they went out of business.

MNGuy, i have a question.

is that duct tape holding that chick to that cross thing?

Yes it is. The Macguyver special. Just put something underneath so it doesn't hurt upon removal.
