Awaiting Kerani's fact filled report.... chocolate mousse cake.... mmmm

We went to a very nice Japanese restaurant, and ate at the sushi bar........he ordered me sake, lobster, and AMAZING salmon, and he ate tuna, sushi, sashimi, and a few other slightly strange Japanese delicacies. Oh, and for dessert? More very good Japanese food. He did, however, bring me to an Italian bakery for my dessert, since in my experience fish is not dessert

A man with great taste and a discerning palate.....who also knows enough about me to know what I would like, and went out of his way to find somewhere to get me dessert. Oh, and he had a dollop of rich whipped cream off of my raspberry mini pastry.

So what does this say about him? I'll leave it to your imagination......but I will say I had an AMAZING time last night

My plane gets in at 8 pm tonite.....so when I get home, I will check in with you guys and see what's going on. Hope you are all enjoying this lovely Sunday.....don't waste it sleeping like we are! Have a great afternoon

Ty I did have a wonderful time, and although the travel time was slightly (like 2 hours) longer than I'd thought it would be, I did make it home just fine. Now it's time to start getting excited about school

I went shopping today.......shopping is depressing when you're having a bad self esteem day. I think I'm going to have to wait a few days to go again. I do need some clothes for school, though, some time before I leave. Hopefully I can get my parents to pay for most of it

Oh, hey, something you guys might find interesting.

I figured out I am allergic to stainless steel. This would not be so interesting, except for how I found the allergy out.

Now, I'd had a reaction to a watch before, but didn't know what kind of metal it was. I just gave up watches and it was over with, so no big problem.

Didn't think about it when I bought a little pinwheel at Toys in Babeland in NYC. A pinwheel looks like this:

Well, the next morning after playing around with it (Sunday, when I was leaving for home, thankfully), I woke up and found bright red blotches on my thighs, arms, and chest. Definitely NOT attractive!! Pretty unsexy, actually. When I found them, I'd just been in a cab, so I thought at first it was a reaction to something in the cab. I'll let my parents think that still - but I know what it was, the 100% stainless steel pinwheel.

So now I'm going about testing small patches of skin. One just with the pinwheel, one with the pinwheel and taking a shower afterward, and one with the pinwheel, a shower, and hydrocortisone cream. Hopefully I can find a solution, because whereas red blotches aren't fun, the pinwheel is lots of fun!!

Just thought I'd give you guys a few laughs with a story from the comedy that is my life

Yep yep. Given that my parents don't really talk, it would have been an interesting - and exceptionally awkward - conversation.
