Finally, a true MN thread, not MN/WI where everyone is from Wisconsin.

Me, I'm from Eden Prairie but I go to school in Boston. I'll be home for the summer, though.

We should really have a Lit Getogether - the people in New York do it all the time, and having been to one myself, I know it's a blast. Of course, I would suggest May for a good time for one since I'll be home then, but I would forgive you all if you had a getogether before I came back.

Aww, thanks for the MN love, I do miss home. I REALLY miss Leeann Chin and Caribou, they don't have them in Boston!

It would be wonderful to have a MN Lit meeting, I'd love to meet some people from home....New York people are lovely, but of course nothing compares to MN

Nice to see the ex-Minnesotans coming home via the Lit boards. (Well, I guess you can never be an "ex-Minnesotan", huh? Just 'cause your body's somewhere else, doesn't mean that you're not here.)
*packages up a box for each of you of coffee and lemon-chicken, all wrapped lovingly in fresh, 100% pure, Minnesota snow (with a little extra snow in the package for Florida, so some might survive the trip*

Of course, I am only an ex-Minnesotan for 7 months out of the year, since I live at home during the summer. And you can take a person out of Minnesota, but you can't take Minnesota out of the person.

I'm so excited - in less than two months I'll be home! Woohoo! Of course, that comes with problems like dealing with my parents, but being in my house again, and the calmer, happier atmosphere of Minnesota will make me a very happy girlie

salacious, I just might have to share some fantasies soon. I was thinking I might have to give story writing a try and have my first story be influenced by you and TranceAngel's teasing. Wonder if tranceangel will ever stop back to say hello and share her spirit. btw - wonderful site you have made. Loved the Devon pics a few days back. Some of my favs.

Hey guys.....it's been a busy week, I had a special Lit friend over to visit until Wednesday and I've spent the last day and a half recovering and catching up on homework.

I think we definitely need to get a Lit getogether planned soon.....maybe in May? I should be back by the middle of the month, so if we planned a getogether for the end of May, we'd have plenty of time to have another one before the end of the summer if we enjoyed ourselves It really doesn't take much planning, just gotta set a date and location that everyone can make and call for reservations somewhere.

I get back around the middle of May. Not exactly sure yet, since I may or may not be going on a mini-trip with my friends before I go home. I'll know by the beginning of April, so I'll let you guys know then and we can start planning details

I think we also need to get a definitive tally of where people are from to figure out generally where would be the best place to have something. For those of us near the cities, it's not a long drive to the other side (from West Minneapolis to East St. Paul, for example), but for people coming from further out it makes a big enough difference that it would be worth looking into. No one wants to drive an extra half hour after they've been driving 3 or 4 already

Now, I know we all did the "hey, I'm 19/f from Eden Prairie" thing....but perhaps we could do it again to get everyone organized on the same page of the thread. 'Cause I'm all about less work and not leaving anyone out.

Also, is anything going on in the Cities for the war? I haven't talked to my parents over the last day or two, so I haven't heard anything about it. Heard about the riot rally things going on, that's very not cool. Protesting's good, but protesting to the point of getting arrested? Not so good.

Anyway, y'all have a good weekend, appreciate the peacefulness of MN for me since I can't be there.

I am from MN, have lived there my whole life, I'm just going to school in Boston. It's a bit of a culture shock, but it's going to be hard being back home for the summer, too.

Well, to follow up on Kerani's idea....I'm a 24 year old male, and I basically live downtown. Any location will work for me. I think just about any date works for me except may 23. Who else, and what dates are good?

OK, I'm starting a list of people who'd like to come, ages and locations, and dates....just so I have an idea of when/where would be good. Yay, this is so exciting

Just so y'all know, I'm 19, female, and right now I'm in Boston for college but during the summer I'm in the southwest suburbs...

I'm thinking I'll check with the woman who plans the NYC Lit parties, and ask her what else needs to be done. So far salacious has nicely offered to help, is anyone else willing to volunteer if we need help? I can't imagine there being that much work involved, it seems like all we need to do is set a date/time/place and make reservations.

Hope you all are enjoying your weekend! It's looking a little chilly in MN right now, but the warm weather's coming back soon enough Unfortunately, in Boston we are just starting the few days of cold weather....and lots of rain.....but I'm not complaining, rain is better than snow!
