I see peanuts, almonds, cashews, macadamia, and pecans. Oops, and Brazilians (niggatoes).

What do you eat first?

I am an almond and niggatoe man, myself. Macadamias are a close third.

As for peanuts? I like them boiled the best.

Where are the pistachio's? They are my favorite!

cashews and pecans....and no offense but boiled peanuts are one of the nastiest things i ever put in my mouth...no offense

Gotta be the cashews..but if I'm not the first one to open it..forget it they're all gone. Then I go for the pecans.

Cashews, then peanuts, then cashews again.

Love those Cashews!

You can have all of my cashews. I promise. If we ever eat a can of mixed nuts, you get all the cashews.

None taken. I like to roast peanuts at home, but there is something special about bawld peanuts. When I lived in Florda I ate them all the time.

Roadside bawld peanuts outside the track. Heeeee dawgeeee!

omygod.. I love cashews, and then the almonds, but they normally don't put pistachios in the mixed nuts cans... just buy me a bag and I'm in heaven. :)

Well thanks riff...and you can have the peanuts for boiling..I gotta agree with unclej...nasty little things they are!

Ah nuts!

Cashews! Everything else is a distant second (except peanuts-yuck)

My dad has to hide the bag of pistachos he buys at Sams because he knows that if I am there and find them, that they are G-O-N-E

boiled peanuts suck. I spat them out when I tried them about 6 months ago for the first time... eewwww.. sheww, nasty shit! But now, roast me some peanuts in salt and serve them hot at the ballfield with a cup of ice cold beer and I'm in heaven.

I'll suck the salt off the Maple nuts first and then head for the cashews.... ;) :)

Boiled peanuts are an aquired taste. I'll admit. I was not fond of them the first time I ate them. But with just the right amount of salt and the right amount of boiling, they are very good.

And don't think that the canned shit you see in a store are real. That's for Kung Pao dishes.

yeah? And I'm sure that boiled peanuts as an acquired taste are quite similar to scotch being an acquired taste, hmmm? And WHO, daresay, got me acquainted quite quickly to the scotch taste? ;-)

Cashews. Then almonds.

Though I wish you had walnuts in there.

Sometimes when flying they serve these little bowls of warmed nuts - shelled - I always go for the pistachios first.

oh man, those almonds, they are so tasty.... but pistachios, I have to admit, are my absolute favorites.

Pecans are best in cookies or bannana nut bread.

Yes... and have you ever had them warmed? They are even better that way. Try it sometime at home - take some shelled mixed nuts and heat them for just a short while in the microwave.

I like pecans best right out of the shell. We got lots of pecans in Louisiana. But don't bite the rind- oooooo- like biting into an unripe persimmon. If you do not know what bitter is, bite into an unripe persimmon or eat pecan rind. Your mouth cringes for hours.

Suggestion for potato chip freaks: eat nuts instead.

I kill off all the peanuts first, leaving the good stuff for later. I love salted pecans.
